Funnier than last week, liked Dobbie and Mark with the Mandleson references and the mug debate.
Not sure about Jeremy's vagina monologue and him being amoral rather than just spineless though.

This is already looking ten times better than series four.

Series 6 has been confirmed:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/a96152/peep-show-gets-sixth-series-order.html

This must be the longest-running actually good sitcom we've had for years now.

The wanking over the £20 note was brilliant.

I loved Dobby's little "Jeff's making a joke!" song and dance.

Jeremy wanking over the picture of the Queen on the £20 note felt like a seminal moment in TV history.

John Logie Baird would be so proud.

I thought Mark buying all the food that Jez wouldnt like to steal even though he doesnt like it himself was just hilarious.

Not as good as last week though.

This is shaping up to be one of the best Peep Show series ever - after a very ropey (IMO) series 4. It's like they have gotten every insecurity in my life and put it into the show whilst making it funny at the same time. The end scene where everyone Mark could possible have an interest in was with someone else was heartbreakingly (yet hilariously) familiar!

I thought there was something especially creepy about Friday's episode. It left me feeling very uneasy. I can't put my finger on what it was, but I think it was something to do with the comedy-laugh-out-loud to cringe-at-the-awkward ratio. Still very funny though in parts. Love Dobby and the wanking over the Queen thing was naughtygood.

Yes, playing the same character it seems.

I have to say I didn't enjoy last night's episode nearly as much as the previous few. Jeremy was out of character and just not funny. Lke a whining child!!

Apparently it wasn't written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong like most of the others, which is maybe why Jeremy seemed a little odd. Though I'm not necessarily sure that being a whining child is actually that out of character for him...

I thought it was a dodgy start, but when Mark got raped by the lesbian, it got much better.

OMG! Tessa Wyatt! Has she always played Jeremy's mum? That's like Yootha Joyce being his telly granny! Almost. If she were still alive.
Tessa looked exactly the same as when I was tiny. That's not fair, (although was sad to hear recently about Richard O'Sullivan being in a nursing home after a stroke).

I loved this episode and rather enjoyed the change of personality in Jeremy around his mum, which happens to a lot of people. The lesbian rape was hilarious. I can't fault this series.

'War isn't a picnic ...although they did end up eating outside a lot.'

With the exception of Gunny, I thought it was a great episode. The rape stuff was hilarious, especially the bum obsession.

ah, that explains a lot. Funnily enough I was chatting to someone about this episode and I said the same thing, although it was presumption and not FACT. Maybe I need to watch it again...

It was written by Simon Blackwell, who has done stuff for Armstrong & Miller (and other stuff).

This episode had some of the best lines:

"he's the kind of son you'd get free with Nuts magazine"

"Don't pause, Mark. You're not Davina!"

I enjoyed last night but Jez is becoming the most odious character on TV- to do that to Mark was completely in character but just so horrible.

Indeed, I'm glad they are giving stuff for Jez in this series - whereas in recent times it has seemed to be the Mark show with Jez just tacked on as something to annoy him rather than be a character himself.

Jez's explanation of Mark going mental may have been the funniest thing I have seen all week.
