Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog « Thread Started on Jul 18, 2008, 1:18pm »
I don't know if this should go here or in TV but...
I can't be the only one watching Joss Whedon's Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, can I? Neil Patrick Harris as a singing supervillain, Nathan Fillion as an arsehole superhero. Two of the three acts are already online, the final one's on tomorrow, and so far it's even better than I expected. NPH is fantastic.
It's only online until Sunday (although will probably be downloadable for a fee shortly after, with a DVD release probable.)

I can't seem to watch this, either on the main site or on Hulu. It seems this can only be viewed within the US. I got about a minute into watching Act I on YouTube and got annoyed at how out of sync it was.
It does look all kinds of awesome, though. If anyone can advise me on how/where to view it, I shall reward you with generous heaps of karma (metaphorical, of course, since the Great Karma Cull of '08).

Weird - when it first went up I couldn't see it on the main site 'cause they'd fucked up and it was just available within the US, but they fixed it pretty quickly and it's been fine for me since. Except when the whole site crashes 'cause too many people are trying to watch. Which is often.

I agree this was fabulous - NPH and Nathan Fillion were brilliant, the songs were amazing, the jokes were, um, funny.
I didn't have any problems accessing it and (sadly) watched the whole thing twice yesterday (there are lots of little details which reward second viewing). I may well fork out for it on DVD if there are some significant extras. And, of course, it would be nice to make sure those involved make a bit of money.
The ending was darker than I expected, but I love the potential for a sequel featuring the Evil League of Evil and that Dark Horse, turned out to be ... a horse.
For anyone who wants more Captain Hammer - he stars in on-line comic adventure Captain Hammer: Be like me!
