Also, this has been discussed here before, but while it used to be a joyous day when the Neighbours sound department bought a new CD, I'm not sure I approve of this 'I've never been to Cuba' malarky. I want to campaign to bring back "Don't look back"; "I'm taking back what's MINE" and the awesome "Is that too heavy mama". Who's with me!

I would love to see the return of "Don't Look Back". Cause nothin's ever easy...

However of the new tunes, I find the one that goes "I've abandoned my soul" to be quite moving.

They need to compile a "best of" from the last ten years or so, including the period in the mid nineties when they used to play Real Bands such as Ash on the Coffee Shop Jukebox.

If you have a credit card:

http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/223402

It also includes a DVD of various ex-stars' music videos.

I thought Katya's use of the jump-lead-things-they-use-every-week-in-casualty was inspired.

Nothing says it's March like Xmas on Ramsay Street.

Im beginning to think Kat-Ya! is the Erinsborough equivalent of Michael Myers, shes been kidnapped, did drugs, hung off a cliff edge, been shot at, blackmailed and worst of all kissed Ned. And yet she is still alive and terrorising us with her alien mask face.

Aren't we due the big exciting season finale yet? Like the Lassiters fire or Harold strangling Paul? What is it this year, and when's it on? And does that mean we'll then get new opening titles?

Some of the answers here -
It'll be on a wednesday, so it's either this wednesday coming or the one after. This year it's to do with Katya and Guy, I think he kidnaps her and Steph (I don't know why though) then Toadie tries to rescue them and gets shot - the clifhanger is will Toadie die - the answer obviously not.

We do get new titles too, but they are annoyingly similar to last year - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjIPVO8AsF4
Ah thanks for that. That's a load of old rubbish though, both the cliffhanger (featuring characters that I couldn't give a toss about) and the lazy new titles.

Do I spot a non-goth Bree in those titles?!

God, Neighbours is going to be so shit if Janelle and/or Bree leave.

I really, really can't stand Sky - I assumed after she gave birth she might cheer up a little - but no.

Bungle:
Karl is quitting medicine because he got the father of Sky's baby wrong and miscalculated her dates - Sky got very annoyed and threatened to take him to a tribunal, even though even she couldn't remember who she had shagged and when.

.

He's obviously got to quit medicine now so that Sky can't take him to tribunal since he'd blantantly get struck off (surely they run a ten-strikes and you're out with karl...), and so in a few weeks he can make friends with sky/thwe timmens and then return to doctoring the ill of erinsbrough.

Fingers crossed Sky will fall down ill and Karl will just stand there shrugging his shoulders going 'But I'm not a doctor any more' and she'll DIE.

With Karl being the only doctor in erinsborough, i think it's likely that she would die... as would anyone else who got poorly from now on until a new doctor was found (possibly a re-opening here for Darcy Tyler, unless he's dead, is he? I can't remember)

Perhaps there's another quack over at Anson's Corner they could make the journey to for extreme emergencies.

Best line in today's episode came from Bree:

No, the best thing in today's episode was Bree as Scarlett O'Hara!

Intersopial comedy plot nonsense alert!
Lou and Andy rock Ramsay St

After much top secret negotiating, we can exclusively reveal that the Little Britain boys Matt Lucas and David Walliams will be appearing in an episode of Neighbours.

The team decamped to the studios where Matt and David were transformed into their famous characters Lou and Andy. Although we don't want to spoil the surprise, we can confirm that their cameo takes place in the Scarlet Bar and features Neighbours favourites Carla Bonner (Steph Hoyland), Ryan Moloney (Toadie Rebecchi) and Nicky Whelan (Pepper Steiger).

The episode will air in approximately three months time in Australia, meaning UK fans will have to wait a gruelling six months to see the hilarious scene.

How many times have we had the 'trapped in a celler' storyline? Karl and Izzy were trapped in a lift once, and flick and Matt Hancock were once trapped ina cellar too....

And why would you need a security code to get out of a cellar? To get in, I can understand. To get out, wouldn't you just have some kind of catch-release?

Lynn's wedding dress looked like a curtain. Elle stood on it as they were waiting to go into the church.

You didn't expect Lynn to wear something tasteful? I wish she'd worn leopard print, I don't like the way she's abandoned it! It's years since we saw her trade mark dressing gown/ nightie

Don't forget the rollers and/or eyemask in her hair too... Lynnie, Lynnie, style truly bypassed you.
