Jenny seems likeable - but is she reading from a cue card? I'm quite happy with my girl Helene after that.

The 'where are they now bit' on the site offers these astonishing snippets:

Ghazal has copied Lohit (http://www.pash-fash.com/) and is launching a couture website: http://www.ghazalscouture.com/

Inter-reality-ality alert!

Quote:
Andy Jackson

Andy has been busy offering his motivational words at dinner events and on local radio business bulletins. He's appeared on poker tours, runs the nutspoker.com North Of Scotland branch, and has just launched a poker training company. He’s also planning a book on consumer rights.

The Nuts Poker League! Off Dragon's Den!

DrSophie allegedly has two website buinesses but the sites are both down, so boo to that.

And BEST EVARZ:

Quote:

Ifti Chaudhry

After the apprentice, Ifti opened up Eclipse Tiles (named after his team on the show), in Ealing, which has been a success. A second store, in South London, is on the way. He has his own tiling firm and is also an accomplished kitchen and bathroom designer.

Where is Jadine in all this, hmmm, Ifti? Eclipse would be NOTHING without her.

I'm not sure I can contain my excitement for another week...

Those videos are hilarious, they all profess the same thing: "I went to the business school of bastards and buzzwords."

Who should get it on?

Amen to that. I'm happy with my irish gal. Though Lucinda Ledgerwood looks like she might be quite remarkable. In a bad way.

Kevin Shaw is being played by Matt Lucas, surely?

Ifti's business had a very small article in the Ealing Gazette back when it opened. I remember being outraged at the time that no credit was given to Jadine in her role as Brand Consultant Extraordinaire.

Edit: This looks like it might be amazing:

I have to say, this line-up depresses me a wee bit - lots of people younger than me who've achieved a hell of a lot more. I can't wait to see them burn, one by one. *evil scientist laugh*

I'm also choosing to sit this sweepstake out, on account of the fact that I wanted Jenny Celerie, and she is in fact Jenny Celerier. That name is no fun! So, so gutted.

The Radio Times has made a sweepstake form! http://www.radiotimes.com/content/features/the-apprentice/sweepstake.pdf

They also have a competition to win some dvds if you choose the winner before the first show, but I've tried to support my sweepie a few times now and it doesn't work!

I cant wait for that facebook application but I can just see my friends being miserable and not joining in.

I'm calling an end to the sweep stake shuffle by the end of Monday, as if you haven't had time to think about it by the end of Easter Monday then frankly you don't deserve a sweepy.

Or at least a place on a diagram demonstrating that you have one.

Because I am excited too:

The Second Annual Lowculture Apprentice Sweepstake

A Cherubic Production in association with Paulie Sweepstake Enterprises and Microsoft Paint

Starring (in order of competence)

Dame Margaret Mountford

Nick 'Lips Built for Sin' Hewer

The Receptionist who is really an actress

The Amstrad Emailer Plus

And world famous grumpy no-nonsense businessman and all round terrible judge of character Alan Michael Sugar

and Introducing: the Apprentices

Cherubic productions reserves every right to leave people out of the sweepstake because I've no idea who they are, they kept changing their minds about who they wanted or simple oversight. In those cases failed sweepers are entitled to support their idiot of choice in their homes and in their hearts, but not on the Internets, where it counts.

Anyone whose apprentice of choice decides to leave the show because they care about their child or finds the whole process of living in a house in central London with sixteen other conceited maniacs pointless is automatically out of the sweepstake, but can rest safe in the knowledge that at least their sweepy was a real human being. Anyone who's sweepy calls bullshit on Sralan is still out, but earns our eternal respect.

There can be no appeals.

The 'order of competence' thing made me guffaw, so have some karma.

Can you all wish/pray/send positive karmic vibes/do that cosmic energy thing Noel Edmonds espouses that my play rehearsal tomorrow night will finish super early so I can be back in time to witness this live. I'll not be able to see it live as a general rule until mid-May but I'd love to see episode one at the same time as the rest of you. (Fezza: texting me during the show is banned until the second week of May)

I am so last minute with all the sweep stakes. Rather like a weekend night out I shall grab anyone I can, if not I will just get myself chips and a taxi back to wherever I slur is my actual or fake address.

Those "meet the contestants" videos are A-MA-ZING.
