I am enjoying this bunch quite a lot despite the tasks being so dull these days.

Last night's episode was the most enjoyable one in a long time as far as I can remember, from Luisa, Jason and Jordan being the most adorable subteam ever (and Luisa and Jason actually managing to make a surprisingly effective team) to Natalie and Dr Leah's epicmazing takedown of Zee in the boardroom.

I really think this series is a bit of a return to form. It really was Apprentice Gold. I haven't seen a boardroom miscalculation like that for a very long time. And Zee was also quite rightly taken to task for that and his attitude to women in general in Yer Foired.
But Dr Lipgloss must go next. She is awful

It was a fun episode, but so formulaic. In contrast to Dave considering it a return to form, I feel like this series has really underlined just how stale The Apprentice has gotten.
The contestants - for the most part - are so transparent and fame-hungry. I could genuinely picture any one of them sat in the Diary Room in their pants ranting "At the end of the day, you either love me or hate me."
I think part of why I enjoyed last night's episode was that Zee went. It felt like the first time this series that the worst offender actually got fired. I do quite like Dr Aisleyne - I didn't have much of an opinion of her before, but her spelling out the word "oud" was hilarious.

I felt like this was a classic episode - certainly the most old-school of the series so far - but simply because it reminded me so much of the Kosher Chicken Incident. And the Zee's boardroom take-down was good fun; for once it wasn't followed by Lord Sugar sacking someone completely nonsensical.
The contestants are particularly awful this year though; notable mostly for their weird physical features, which are what they are known as in my house - Pineapple Head Boy, Skull Lady, Wig Woman, Eyebrows Welshman, Eyebrows Poshboy, Stella 2, Needs-to-shave-his-neck Man, Closed Eyes.

I think this is a good series - the best since S6 at any rate, even if I think the format doesn't have anywhere else to go much. These last two episodes were classics.

Well the caravan task was fun but Kurts tactical decision on who to bring back into the board really backfired. Also lovely to see Claude back and being mean on Yer Foird.

Plus the final shot in the "next week" trailer actually made me squeal in horror.
