I tape it every day and watch it over breakfast. The moment I first decided to tape Neighbours was perhaps the moment I realised how much I belonged on these boards.

Someone should shave Max's sideburns.

I'd offer, but I'd be afraid of not being able to stop and shaving his nasty little head down to a neck bone stump.

Neighbours UK!
British Neighbours fans are in for a treat this autumn, as Ramsay Street favourites Karl Kennedy and Susan Kinski are heading to the UK to film a special series of episodes!
Producers have confirmed that shooting will take place this October, for a major storyline that will reportedly feature the shock return of a face from the past. Speculation suggests that the mystery guest star will be Natalie Bassingthwaighte as scheming Izzy Hoyland - but there are also reports the actress in question could be UK-based Nicola Charles, whose character, Sarah Beaumont, had an affair with Karl in 1998.
Meanwhile back in Melbourne, actress Janet Andrewartha has recently filmed her final scenes as Erinsborough mum Lyn Scully. How fantastic!

Nnnhhh, stop teasing me with these spoilers. I can only resist for so long. Currently I'm allowing myself to read the Neighbourses in the next week's Radio Times when I get it the week before. It's a bit of a Russian roulette spoiler-wise as some days it'll be "Lou wonders what to do with the leftover veggie lasagne" and some days it's all "Lynnie is shot dead in salon massacre"* in your face.
I started taping Neighbours about 18 months ago and think it's probably the best decision I ever made. It got my other half hooked as well (who has just been away for a week and has had probably the best complete week of Neighbours to watch on his return).
* I can dream, can't I?

"Are you from Syria?" HA! Despite that, the Boyd-Janae storyline is ruining an otherwise great period of Erinsborough history.

Neighbours was on today, on a bank holiday. That's not normal is it? Usually there is some shit old film on. Perhaps it is because it's not a UK-wide bank holiday.

Tyhe whole Janae Boyde thing yesterday was ridiculous- they were moving across the road! Not Queensland or Sydney (as we know if you go there you are unlikely to return) but across the bloody street.
EDIT: I've just remembered that Dani and Malcolm did exactly the same thing only they moved into what is now the Hoyland house.

As a bank holiday veiwer I have to mention my shock and awe at Karl in leather trousers. He is a fine looking older man. I like.

I love Neighbours so much it's unhealthy. I too have started to record it on my TVDrive which proves to be invaluable when they move the times around like they did on Bank Holiday Monday the bastards. Ruined my lunchtime that did. Anyway, I love Neighbours so much that I am going to go on the Ramsay Street tour when I go out to Oz for Christmas. Anyone here been on it? For an extra 10 dollars you can see Dr. Karl's band which is not The KenNEDdys unfortunately.

Today's episode was just ridiculously amazing. I loved how rubbish and unrealistic the twin scenes were, but I still found myself thinking 'Hmm, good twin is much better looking than evil twin' at one point.

Today's was just the best! Oh, I don't know if I can cope with them catching the wrong triplet, it's so stressful! Poor real Cam! But how good was Rob opening his eyes at the end, darting them from side to side, and then smirking all psychotically? I love how crappily obvious the actor plays him, it's like pantomime.
I found that scene with Rob and Cam in the hospital really bizarre. It was like it was being played in slow motion or something (perhaps because they had the same actor twice in the shot?). They were reeeaaally slow to react to each other. It was actually very creepy.

It was amazing. Izzy is actually a great character and, though I never thought I would write this, the neighbours scriptwriters have been really skillfull. I went from hating her and hoping she would fail re: Susan and Karl to wanting her to win win WIN re: the Robinsons.
I loved the line to Max that went something like "is that why you got your wife sectioned?"
I also still cannot decide if Camrob is attractive.

Lordy that was awesome. As I'm missing the rest of the week's episodes, I'm glad that I got to see this pivotal one. I've a feeling they're going to drag it a lot more now.
Izzy wins! And there was much rejoicing throughout the land.

Oh! That was brilliant and amazing!
I got very frustrated and mad when good Cam got told off and arrested and that.

I can't bear it that everyone now thinks the good twin is the evil twin - but he really only has himself to blame. I mean he did insist on maintaining exactly the same haircut as Cameron, all the while he was in a coma. And putting on his brother's clothes really didn't help matters.
But surely Paul could see that the eyes were different- so pleading and earnest as opposed to the coldness of his psychopathic sibling. Can't wait for the mass slaughters to be over so we can get back to the underage sex storyline of Rachel and Stinger. Thats why I love Neighbours: because it's so wholesome.

Today's episode was just ridiculously amazing. I loved how rubbish and unrealistic the twin scenes were, but I still found myself thinking 'Hmm, good twin is much better looking than evil twin' at one point. Hee! I was watching in the office with my friend, and she thought the evil twin was better looking. I informed her they were both played by the same person, and she put it down to some kind of latent bad-boy fetish. Also, the end of today's episode? Brilliant. I love how Rob even wakes up evilly - eyebrows first.

Oh. My. God.
I can't cope with good Cam being blamed. Too much of a nightmare, somone please tell me that it all turns out ok in the end. And I am also spending too much time fretting about poor connor.
Plus, there were only 4 kids at todays Oodles and Noodles party!

The Oddles and Noodles thing was rubbish. Not funny rubbish, just rubbish. I'd expect it of Ned, but I'm disappointed in Dr Karl. I miss Free As A River Karl; the one who used to shag Izzy and drink in posh looking bars that we'd never seen before and have literal pissing contests with Paul. I hate this road to redemption Karl, and the way that Susan fawns all over him.
Katya was also rubbish today. And everyday. But she particularly annoyed me today. "Oh, I'm so stupid" (by that admission, she's calling Paul stupid too, the cold-hearted wench.)
But Rob's comedy eyebrow at the end just made the whole episode worth it, especially because it was in time with the music. I thought he was going to watch the TV to check the news, but no, he's just watching TV. Evil!

I always thought that people come out of a coma with really long fingernails, toenails, hair, etc etc. I don't know how much the nurses (especially nuns) would do to upkeep the looks of the comatose person.
And surely there is something Elle could ask - a secret, a particular event that only Cam would know - come on!
Why would you have a kid's party in the House of Trouser? For one thing, the bathroom would be right skanky.

Why would you have a TV in the room of a patient in a coma. Wouldn't have been fabulous if the Tv was turned and on came the Neighbours theme tune.
