I must say it's a shock. But I'm glad, it means others can get some camera time without the sounds of slurping in the background.
Surely this puts Aisleyne in a stronger position to win? Or does she have NO chance whatsoever?

The British public are SO thick. Even if they despise Nikki, she's the reason they watch. How can they not realise that? It's going to be such a boring finale, full of boring people, and boring Pete will win and no one will be surprised. I want Aisleyne to win, but she won't.

Well I for one...um I have mixed feelings. she bugged the hell out of me but she was fun to watch and bitch at. I think the other HMs truely believe she will be coming back. I thought she was going to explode when Davina called her name. Silver belt? eh?

Stupid fucking British people.
Here's to a Imogen, Mikey and Glyn final.
Every year, we vote out the interesting ones first!

Let's not confuse vile, ugly, nasty, special needs and easily manipulated with interesting. Actually, that's not fair. I liked Nikki until last week but I prefer Aisleyne, she's more complex.

She's more interesting than the rest of them though. More fun to watch than Imogen, Susie, Glyn, Mikey, Pete, Richard, Aisleyne, Spiral, Jennie, Jayne, Michael... wait did I just actually name all of them?
Don't get me wrong, I LIKE some of them more than Nikki, but I'd rather watch her throw a hissy fit than them mumble or whatever it is half of them do.

Marvellous news. So, out of 11 people up for eviction, she was clearly the least liked by the public. For once its a case of bravo the public. Aynileese or whatever her name is or monotone monstrosity Glyn out next please.

If I had to rank them in order of makes interesting television, I'd put them like this:
Nikki, Aisleyne, Richard, Pete, Spiral (for the crap raps), Jayne (oh my god I'm really scraping the barrell putting her 6th), Glyn, Mikey, Susie, Imogen, Jennie, Michael.
Big Brother is officially dead, haha.

I don't think it's that simple. 11 housemates up means that those who do like Nikki which is the majority can't consolidate their vote. Nikki is a marmite housemate and the system of negative voting favours the haters when there are 3 or more nominees.

I totally 100% agree with you (well, apart from wanting Aisleyne to win) Thats the last of the truly interesting housemates gone. Dull dull Big Big Brother 2006. Goodbye and see ya next year.

Aynileese or whatever her name is or monotone monstrosity Glyn out next please. I imagine more people will have voted against Nikki leaving than voted for her to leave. The keep Nikki in vote would be spread over the other 10 housemates. It's the same voting system which kept Maggie Thatcher in for all those years! I'm gutted about it.

Stupid British and Irish voters. Mikey to win, then? Idiots.
I think we need to introduce a system of proportional representation into the voting. Wouldn't Davina have fun presenting that?

well done british public more like.
she was a twat and shouldn't have lasted this long. people only like her coz she's a dick and i don't get that. she's a dick so i don't like her.
most of the people on here and my friends say "if i knew her i'd hate her, but she's great". fuck off. if you think like that then you're as much of a twat as she is.
as her BB6 counterpart, Saskia, would say - "end of".

i kind of thought she came out of the eviction interview quite well. Her abject terror and refusal to leave the confines of the house was almost painful to watch, until she realised people were cheering her and she started loving it. Me and SO thought it was funny how Davina was manhandling her through the phalanx of cameras.

Are housemates under contract after they are evicted up until finale? ITV should put evictees onto Love Island one by one. Bonnie, Sezer, Grace, Sam, Lisa, Lea and Nikki against the remaining Dullards.

All we can hope for is that just before the final, Davina goes into labour, Dermot breaks his leg and Russell has an accident with a sex toy (not all linked obviously), and Nikki has to present the final!
Can you imagine their faces as they leave, and Nikki is in charge?

She got off so lightly in her interview - there was plenty of room for a bit of a grilling. Nikki was fun, but needed someone to provide just the right remark, like it needed to be put in context or something. I couldn't help but wonder, sipping my manhattan cocktail, worrying that I'd maxed out my credit cards on Jimmy Choos ... oops, who am I ... that Davina was a bit desperate to get a slice of Nikki's popularity, nah? I hate Davina: she thinks she's in the big league. She ain't Big Brother, Big Brother is her.

What's all this about her silver belt she was begging for? Maybe they thought she'd top herself and so took all the belts and shoelaces off her!
I love that moody moment where Imogen's in the foreground with Mikey behind her, both pensively looking into the distance behind the camera, and the focus shifts between them. It's like pre-New Wave French cinema.

I loved how in the interview she was constantly looking round in order to check her reflection only to realise she's no longer in a house with mirrored walls. Bless 'er.

I liked Nikki, and thought that she was actually very honest. I have a tiny bit of Nikkiness inside me that I squash constantly in order to be a "nice" person. I feel a certain liking for someone screaming and venting. In the beginning I said I liked her but wouldn't want to know her, I change that now, I think I would quite like to know her. It is telling that none of the housemates were glad to see her go, even Richard and Ash. She was entertaining, and as she proved in the interview when admitting to her embarrassment at her behaviour at late trains she does know herself after all. I think the show will be much duller without her.

As mental as she is, I'd bet she is actually the sanest of the lot, she just vents well. There isn't anyone left in there I really care about. Pete actually makes my skin crawl.
