I thought this would have been mentioned by now.
But Russell Brand has only gone and fucked off from Big Mouth. Im quite sad, I always looked forward to Rosebud and Russell comedy kicking the audience, and Monica talking about sexing men up.
Sigh.

Noo! This was the best part of big brother, even better than the show itself! I got the impression he didn't really like Big Brother though.

Perhaps he didn't take kindly to being forced into the role of Professional Jade Goody Apologist? Come on Dermot, why don't you grow a pair and resign too? Attaboy.

BBBM was far better than the actual show. I think the "My ballbags..." routines were getting a bit tired tho', and the format was becoming a little stale. I adore him, and find it curious that his other programmes haven't been as ace as when he is spouting off about BB. He appears to have a very fluid and wonderful way with language, and somehow being focused on BB allows him to flourish. i really hope he finds a suitable vehicle for his talents.
Re: Dermot, I have a teeny amount of pity for him, for a short while he seemed irreverant and casual, then Russell stole his crown so effortlessly and he was revealed as a toady. I always imagine he was waiting to be promoted to the Big Job too, but Davina has clung on, ever more useless. Anyone remember liking her chummy style?

No, i've always loathed her. I feel like Dermot has been overlooked for a job he could do effortlessly.

After the past couple of series, I don't think I'd find Dermot any more tolerable as the main host than Davina. They're both damaged goods in my eyes now.

Agreed. It seems like Dermot has lost interest in the show now. The first two series of BBLB were ace, but now it's become less irreverent and more irrelevant as each series passes

I'd still let Dermot give me a good bumming.
Sorry.

I'd still let Dermot give me a good bumming. Sorry. There's a queue... Is the "I want to get bummed by Dermot" queue separate from the "I want to bum Dermot" queue?

I'm in the one queue, with a friend saving my place in the other, to see which line disappears fastest.
When it come to Dermot, clearly I am not fussy...

My mum has loved him for ages. He always seems to be a 'Mum's favourite'
I agree though, he does seem to have lost enthusiam for his own show.

Is the "I want to get bummed by Dermot" queue separate from the "I want to bum Dermot" queue? Surely Dermot could get through both queues at the same time, if he was to play "lucky pierre"?

I'd be in a third queue for the spectators gallery. I don't fancy Dermot but would be curious to see what he'd look like naked.

I had a nice dream about Dermot last night. And Gethin Jones.
On topic, I agree that BBLB is not as good as it used to be. Whether it's because Dermot has lost interest, or whether the writers have run out of ideas, or whatever, I don't know.

Re: Dermot, I have a teeny amount of pity for him, for a short while he seemed irreverant and casual, then Russell stole his crown so effortlessly and he was revealed as a toady. Well there's supposed to be some animosity between the two anyway, probably due to that very reason.

Has it been confirmed he won't do BBLB though? All reports I have seen won't confirm that either way

I expect either Ian Lee or one of those edible E4 music boys will take over BBLB. Big Mouth I think by an unknown, who's hot on the stand up circuit at the moment?
