Bloody hell. There's never a dyke when you need one. I've spent my life avoiding them then the one moment in my life I require the presence of one there's none in sight.
With this in mind I'm abandoning my Shortest Haired Lesbian housemate (even though I've got a feeling Tracey may be her) and opting for Most Potentially Unstable Middle Aged Female for which I will choose Carole.
Thanks for organising this Paul, you gem
EDIT: Forget all of that - it looks like Carole's a lesbian/bisexual so I'll revert back to my original choice of Lesbian With Shortest Hair, which is still Carole. Thank God

I was feeling ok about my fattest housemate choice as laura seems sweet and bubbly and I liked her glittery eyeshadow, then at the last minute there was Carole. Oh bollocks. Are we sure Carole is fatter than Laura?
There is a bloke in there surely...pink haired person seems very manly?
Chris Moyles on BBBM, ugh!

There is a reason why Chris Moyles is on radio. He can't get on TV. Well, he can but he can't stay on TV because nobody wants to see him.

I didn't watch it, but I'm presuming that Chanelle's vague pretense of Victoria Beckhamness is the nearest we got to a comedy costume?

(with apologies to everyone else) But: Pardon? Excuse me? What gives you the right to presume you know anything about my sex life? (based on having met me on two separate occasions nearly two years ago) How bloody rude. A Sadly not, Jamie. But you flatter me thinking I'm a big gay hunk! A Well you seem to get a lot..... And next to me you probably are a big gay hunk.

So who have I got? Emily? Thats not so bad. I thought I had Welsh girl for a bit - but praise be the confusion has been rectified.
I don't mind Emily - except she reminds me of Plankton from the Oaks. (I've just realised, when searching how to spell plankton, as it looks like it should have a c in it somewhere, that this has been pointed out already but whatever, I'm reiterating the statement)
Actually, wait. I hate her for that 'theres a new music sweeping Britain. Its ... Indie!' thing. I can remember extoling the virtues of indie back in bloody 1996 as an overenthusiastic 13 year old.
I bloody hate drama students who think they're dead wacky and different. I lived with enough at uni. I don't want to spend my summer with them too.
I have to say, I didn't really like any of them. Bring on the chaps.

Two - surely. Largely because I think I might quite like Lesley* (was that the recruitment consultant's name?), and I've got number three. *Snobbery factor to be re-assessed at a later date. Charles and Camilla?? Go Team Lesley!! Tea at Highbury, oh Nicholas, check out the calibre of our candiate! I was very pleased to see her first up this morning when I flicked over to E4 during my breakfast. I like to think that she wasn't reading the rules for reference, but to criticize the grammar.

I have Chanelle and I don't mind. I thought her VT was quite amusing. It could be worse. Not sure I am getting the Carole love.

can we still apply? I have no idea who to choose as I have no immediate love for any of them right now. Will there be a new wave of applications when the boys get here?

Can I have the first one that relentlessly repeats his or her own catchprase? This person is likely to insist to be exclusively refered to by a nickname. In other words I want this year's Bubble, Science or Spiral. I think I've got Tracey as she seems to be 'avinit at any oppertunity.

Sorry, I've been away all weekend.
Is Ziggy my sweepstake as "first additional housemate", or am I getting number 14 as first-additional-housemate-apart-from-the-13-chosen-who-we-assumed-to-be-in-on-the-first-night?

Right, front page updated, for those who have picked on criteria, let me know which one suits you and you'll be updated. David Hunter will have to wait for his second gay (always the bridesmaid) and Jode* can pick which future housemate she wants.

I'm giving Ziggy up for adoption as I'm not watching BB yet so it's completly unfair for me to have him. I also only wanted the 12th because I hoped they were saving a massive freak for last.
It's a sorry state of affairs when not even a LowCulture Sweepstake can stimulate my interest.

Hooray! I finally have a housemate!
I did cringe when his video started, but I was quite impressed by the end. Especially when Davina couldn't cope with his bio and made herself look even more stupid than usual.
