My God, they've put Paul Nicholas in the house. I was thinking Jonathon Morris. It could have been worse. Bubble? Maxwell? Jason? By BB standards Ziggy (Zac?) is hot!

I wish this thread had been called "Ziggy Zac Ahh"
I watched some of the live feed today, and the man is just relentlessly dull, he makes Antaneeee Hutton look like Mr Personality.

What I instantly loathed about him was the way he looked at Lesley and Carole and laura, and gave them his eye contact and time, as if to say "I'm a really nice guy eh? Handsome too, I'm looking right at you, I'm the most attractive guy who has ever paid you attention, don't you feel all wibbly."
I hate guys who do that, and women who suck it up and get all flustered. (Yes, ok, I have been the flustered one sometimes, but it's all wrong dammit, and I sure as hell wouldn't be blown away by him, he's just meh...)

I think I would have evaporated into a hysterical orgasmic mist if I were Chanelle - although I'd be no Charlie, that 'biotch' is just desperate. I've been less picky before, so am just embracing my crush for him and already imagining vicarious OK deals for him and Nelley. I'd dump him for bandmate Dan of course.

It been bugging me who he reminds me of for some time (since Friday, actually), and this morning it hit me. He has the cold dead eyes of Christian Bale in American psycho.
This is not a good thing.

I thought American Psycho too!
Who should he butcher first? It would make him more interesting if he killed someone on live TV.

Please someone take Ziggy off my hands! He's up for adoption in the sweepstake thread. He is truly unwanted.

He is horrible.
I loved how during the racist furore, when Charley came in the bedroom stating she wasn't saying what it was about, the first thing Ziggy says is "did she say you fancy me".

I noted with interest the nasty and quite threatening way he told Emily "Don't you dare throw that" when she had whatever it was in her hand.

Given the two examples above, I would think any man, gay or straight, wouldn't come across very well dealing with two volatile, sniping, attention seeking and manipulative wannabes regardless of how many other men are in the environment.
How does a man deal with a teenage girl when she's screaming and jumping up and down at him when he's in bed? Considering he's the metaphorical cat amongst the pigeons, it's surprising there hasn't been a larger cull of the vermin.

He does seem a nice, reasonable guy. However, when the two new guys arrived, he exclaimed, "There are guys in the house!" Then, under his breath, "Sort of." I didn't like that.

Well quite - regarding use of threatening tones, how many of us can say with hand on heart we wouldn't resort to an astonishing campaign of unprecedented violence if locked up with half of the hoobs in that house?

He's not my favourite housemate ever, but I think he's coped quite admirably with the situation he was put in.

What about the new situation. He seems to assume that the gays both fancy him. He's keeping about 10m distance from each of them at all times.
And dragging in Chanelle to the toilet for a piece of greasy hair love. It's not nice.

Now that Ziggy is my piece of Sweepstake meat (my SweepSteak?), I feel that I should stand up for him against all you haters. I shall do this as soon as I have watched more than two half episodes and last night's diary room uncut. I feel a list coming on.
In fact I shall start it now:
1) He was in a boyband. 2) He's quite the gentleman. 3) Er, he's probably never conned anyone's gran in one of those brazillian lottery scandals that all the old dears lap up.

4) He is a friend of The Gays. He sat on Gerry's lap earlier, which was frankly stupid as you know what they can be like. 5) As we know from Channelle's introduction video, she is an exact replica of Posh Spice. Perhaps this means that Ziggy is a Spice Girls fan. In fact, it definitely does and therefore he is ace. 6) He loves animals! Earlier he said he misses his dog "who he sleeps with every night" and she is "like his daughter". Actually, this lack of what is appropriate to do with dogs and children is perhaps not a point in his favour.
Anyway, he is better than most of the housemates. I will stop listing now, unless he gets to the final.

Bad Xenomanic, BAD. Does this not even change your mind? Thanks to the grubby handed dwellers of fmforums for that. It is probably not the biggest shame that his head is missing.

I think he's nasty.
Again made comments about 'real' men needed in the house, who does he think he is?
I find him quite ego-centric and I think he's threatened/fancys Charley and that's why the antagonism is there.

In spite of myself I am starting to really like Ziggy. He is very sensible. I suspect he is a bit more crafty than he is letting on but I can't help liking his good sense and also feeling sorry for him. Watching him and Chanelle seems to be like a very, very slow car crash. He's so lovely to her and she seems less and less interested. His quiet desperation reminds me of when I got dumped by my first boyfriend and still had to see him at school, sadly hoping that he might change his mind.
Oh, I feel a bit tearful now! Poor Ziggy!

Quite what Ziggy was trying to accomplish by dry-humping Carole is anybodies guess, I'll bet she weed herself right after he did it (which would explain her giggles). I think if Carole stood on a step her boobs would hang lower than her feet - I have never seen boobs sag so unapologetically.
If I were Channelle I would be having some 'naked Jacuzziness' with the model guy asap just to get Ziggy's old lady fetish out my system.
