Liam and Victor went on Friday. I was sad to see Liam go. I've not actually watched this properly at all. Did Liam used to wank all the time or something?

I'm not sure how much longer this series has to go but its been much more watchable than some of the regular series have been.
I think its because there have been some arguments so its not too 'nice' but it doesn't feel like the producers have put together a house designed purely for arguments and drama. There are people in there that seem to have more than 1 dimension.

I watched my first full episode of this today. The McQueen girls were lovely, but Anthony is a cunt, and there were at least two girls and one boy who were distinctly unfortunate looking.

My favourite episode so far was the one with Brian Sewell as the hijacker, as you could tell he didn't think much of the housemates at the start and they were a bit dismissive of his 'old skool' views but as the day went by you could see them all really warming to him and him to them.
With regards to the evictions thus far I too was sad to see Liam go as apart from the sexual deviant stuff I quite liked him. I also don't really get why Jeremy is still there when Jade and Liam were nice and Victor at least had nice arms; I don't see any redeeming qualities in Jeremy.
Today's (the show tomorrow I presume) hijackers are some All Saints!

I have to say I am actually thoroughly enjoying this series. The twists and stuff have been kept to a minimum and the format of having a different celebrity with a task each day is nice. More than anything it all seems to be quite well thought out when compared with the last few regular series, and I'm really liking that fact that it's more low-key like in the olden days and everything isn't sensationalised.
They are again, however, making the mistake of having six bloody people in the final. Idiots. Amy is amazing and has to win.

I have to agree and I was rally surprised as I fully expected it to be utter shite.
They've had a task a day and yet most of them have been far more interesting than the ones we get on a regular show. Dermot commented on BBLB recently that the contestants in this series seem to listen to each other more. I think its because they seem more self assured than your average BB contestant. Maybe because they have all experienced a degree of success already?
Thankfully they haven't been too goody, goody tho. We've still had wanking, lust, arguments and (nearly) naked body painting.
Maybe the producers will learn that creating a house purely designed for angst and arguments isn't actually that compelling to watch. Mind you only 20 people turned up at the Newcastle auditions for BB9 so it could be a moot point...

I went and investigated to make sure I didn't dream it. www.shieldsgazette.com/news/Is-this-the-end-for.3669297.jpWell according to this it was 50 fools people. Michelle Bass was even there , how did her presence not start a stamped? To crush her to death obviously.

Oh how I love the use of quotation marks in this article! "The Geordie lass shot to 'fame' after an on-screen romance with fellow housemate Stu, and managed to get herself labelled as a 'bunny boiler'."

I love the "It was ironic she was there at all, it was like showing a new-born lamb a roasting tin and jar of mint sauce and saying 'this is your future'."

Glad to see the Shields Gazette still telling it like it is. Used to get mine on the Nook with a saveloy on the side.

I have to say that I really enjoyed it.
I watched the final (well, after Masterchef) and came to realise that I liked all six finalists. When has that ever happened?
Good points:
- They were all nice (okay if slightly boring sometimes).
- The hijackers and their tasks really brought out the best in people. They were witty and clever, which is more fun to watch than someone just being dumb and slapstick.
- Letting some of the hijackers go in and chat to them was great.
- I really like how hijackers would just pipe up when a housemate said something and it was picked up on their microphone and not keep schtum like old Big Brother.
- Dermot
- It didn't feel like torture, it just felt like they were trying to let some young people have fun for a few weeks.
- I would laugh out loud, but not in a shocked, OMFG!!11!! way - just in a "that was clever" way.
- The whole series was really laid-back and refreshing.
- It was a really good length too.

I like that John won, and that when asked why he thought he had he said 'because everyone fancies me.' I think Anthony is the most attractive housemate ever. I think that Amy is wonderful, and a great female for other girls to see on telly. She is witty, dry, full of ideas, pretty, quirky, individual and strong.
Yay!
It was much better than any other recent bb I can think of.

Yeah you're right junky, the exit order was strange. Personally I would have expected it to be: Emilia and Jeremy Amy and Rapper dude (H something?) John and Anthony.
Curious (strokes chin in thoughtful manner.)

Because it was on E4 there weren't as many viewers, so there won't have been as many votes. From the look of the Digital Spy forums, Emilia had strong support amongst the people who post there. Maybe that could have been enough. She was never one of my favourites, but she didn't do anything to deserve getting booed like she did.
I thought John would win it from the start, but he's a decent winner- he's a nice, pleasent guy. My favourite though was Amy- she was funny, clever and strong. I'm glad she's did well and was quite popular- I remember there was a nice article about her in the Yorkshire Evening Post before she went in.
I have quite enjoyed Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack, certainly more than Big Brother 8. It seemed more ordinary than most recent Big Brothers, and all the contestants were relatively pleasent and normal. I liked some of the little touches in it (playing music when the housemates were evicted to cover up booing, and even that purple ninja was quite funny). The celebrities taking control did add some intersting elements as well. Overall, it was a bit of fun.

Purple Ninja was a classic BB invention. Overweight and inept, I feel we would have got on well in real life. I loved the fact that whenever he tried to enter the house the house mates tried to stop him leaving.
I wasn't too shocked that John won but the exit order was a surprise as has already been discussed. But even that made a nice change, there is nothing worse than watching a foregone conclusion for weeks on end.
I feel a bit sad now. This has finished. The Ugly Betty repeats have finished. Dermot's gone.
