I thought I'd start a thread, as I couldn't find one on the past three pages.
Did anyone see today's episode? It had a wendy house bursting into flames! I bet you're annoyed you missed it now.

For me, Doctors is just the irritant between Neighbours and either Diagnosis Murder or Murder, She Wrote.

Do they still go to the Leather Bar?
I used to think it was odd that no one thought that this name was a bit gay. But not even the gay doctor thought it was a name worthy of comment. Every time they'd mention it, I'd think of the Blue Oyster or whatever it was called in Police Academy.

I saw it a few days ago when George was building it, but had to get the melted-faced GP round to do it secretly. How did it burst into flames? Doctors treads the line between being brilliantly shit and just plain shit. It's gone down hill a lot recently, but seems to be getting better again. It reminds me a lot of student films, through the way that they have to tell a story in 25 minutes on a teensy budget, using any old actors they can find and filming in people's real houses. I also like recognising bits of Birmingham. A few months back George, Ronnie, and Baby went on an entirely pointless shopping spree into town, which ended in argument and George going off to try lots of hats on. I was ridiculously excited though, since it was all done in places I knew. Another exciting thing about Doctors (well, when you're meant to be in a lecture or writing an essay) is the Gay one's hair. It really is a big bouffy state.

Oh no! I saw it a few days ago when George was building it, but had to get the melted-faced GP round to do it secretly. How did it burst into flames? Well, the whole episode, George was at home with the child (is it called Bracken because it sounded like that today?) and things like photos and plant pots had been moved without her knowing. The camera was filming from funny vantage points, to make us think George was being "watched". Anyway, at the end, suddenly the wendy house was in flames, luckily without the child inside. George was completely shocked, and I think it's something to do with the criminal Ronnie was working with, or the criminal who died. I'm not quite sure, but isn't that the point of Doctors - working out the next plot development from the "subtle" clues? And yes, Greg's hair is ridiculously huge at the moment. Maybe there's an upcoming storyline about hairspray addiction that they're building towards...

Aye, it's the criminals that Ronnie is meant to be prosecuting that burned down the wendy house. I love it when Doctors does the big budget stuff.
Does anybody here have local surgery thats as quiet as the one on Doctors? Or one that shuts for lunch? Or one where the GPs spend very little time in their little rooms, preferring to wander around willy nilly, make time consuming house calls, or chase after a single patient for the whole day?

Ah, the absurdity of the show is probably the best aspect!
'There's been a terrible accident! Let's rush to.... the doctor's surgery'.
Err, no, you go to A&E you pleb.
The number of house calls is mad too. Has anyone ever tried to get a house call? It's damn near impossible. I hope they don't claim the fuel back on expenses as they're largely unnecessary jaunts to convince Aunt Daisy that she really does need to have her eyes tested, and no, that doesn't make her useless etc.

I did not have the pleasure of seeing this, but was it anything like in Prison Break with the matchstick Taj Mahal? That would be quite literally awesome.

I miss Doctors for a couple of weeks, and suddenly Greg's gone! What happened to him? He was the only character who I found likeable.

Keith Barron! Tilly Vosburgh! This is a genius episode. And that Archie chap is kind of fit.

I did enjoy todays episode, especially the nurse saying "The cat that got the cream" about Melody, just after she'd fucked the hot male nurse. I do love unintentional smut.

I love the fact that Ronnie is so upset about George cheating on him, he punches her crippled shag buddy in the face and steals his wheelchair. 'You like this chair? You need this chair? Well tough.' Thats a real depth of feeling for you, comparing your wife to a wheelchair.
Stealing the implausibly named and impossibly silent 2 year old Bracken made a bit more sense at least.
Meanwhile marriage wrecker Nick feels slightly guilty but then his toe starts twitching and he forgets all about the havoc he has caused

When George was in labour with Bracken she saw Ronnie giving a client a goodbye kiss, and banned him from the labour suite and made him have heaps of STD tests. Such a happy marriage!

George and Nick! No way. I haven't seen it for 3 months. Happy 1000th post Jode*! And yes, George and Nick got together before Christmas, and now George is wracked with guilt for (a) crippling him last year and (b) sleeping with him (though she said they didn't have full sex...) behind Ronnie's back. I wonder if the miracle of getting your wheelchair stolen will urge Nick to try to walk again?

No you are right, they didn't have full sex, they 'explored each others bodies'. Not sure how George thought that would make Ronnie feel better.
So now Ronnie and Tree Bark Toddler have disappeared but where too....

Yesterday Melody and Archie were shown in silhouette behind a curtain and either she somehow managed to get her hair stuck in his zip in totally innocent circmstances... or she was giving him a blow job. I'd just fed my child orange mush. She looked distinctly nauseous. Not sure if it was the tv or the food.

I'm watching this today. There's an angry butch man with swollen genitals who has taken a bad reaction to ladies' underwear he's bought off the market. The market keeper is upset and takes a funny turn. It reminds me a bit of Casualty when it very first started.
