The recent Bunton revival has got me asking myself that 10 yearage old question - who is the greatest Spice Girl?
Emma would probably win on niceness, but that's quite dull so I think my vote goes to Victoria. She's certainly proved the most entertaining (or at least the best value) since the band days, but I also remember her as being the "funny one" in interviews and not afraid to take the piss out of herself.

Victoria; quite simply, she had no business being there. She couldn't sing, she couldn't dance, she had very little personality. But through sheer willpower, she made her ability to stare at the camera and point into a multi-million pound career. You have to admire that.

I have to agree that Victoria has been the best value post-Spice. She was also my favorite during-Spice as well. She always had the best outfits.

Back in the day I read Posh's autobiography and was pleased with her admission that David came home one day during his rumoured affair days and she punched him in the face... even if it's not true it's an ace image!
Mel B and Eddie Murphey is just bizarre - that baby will have issues before it's even learnt how to say issues.

Geri is amazing.
The Bunton revival will be over as soon as the album is heard. I have 2 tracks left to listen to and it's made me feel ill since about 3 tracks in.

I'm torn between Geri and Victoria. Reading the biography type book Wannabe, it was clear how important Geri was as the main songwriter, but also how sensible Victoria was/is.
My favourite Spice moment though is still Victoria walking over the ice in 2 Become 1 and doing her legendary point in slow motion, in leather gloves, so I'll vote for her.

Obviously Geri, while in the group. I love how you quickly added 'while in the group'. Vicky B was my favourite and she looked fab as Posh. So cool and sophisticated. Geri would have been okay had she not done all that mad bulimia stuff.

In primary for some reason everyone used to always fight over who got to be Sporty. I always got shoved in to being Scary, just because I had curly hair. Those bitches.

. I always got shoved in to being Scary, just because I had curly hair. Those bitches. I always had to be Scary. I have uber-curly hair, true, but it's blonde! I always wanted to be Geri, cause I've got a thing for ginger women (in a straight way...). I didn't seem to care she dressed like a whore and was crazy. Post Spice maybe Sporty because she's gone away with the least trouble. Victoria? No! Her face enters my eyeline waaaay too often. And her boobs are well weird.

There is no "Greatest Spice Girl." They are soulless, greedy vampiric hags who have done nothing at all except promote bulimia to impressionable kids and mentally ill adults. Every one of these scumbags should be dragged into the streets and shot

The Ginge - but only because her transistion from fabulous entertainer in the Spice Girls to irritating, tragic Earth Mother in Hampstead has been fantastic to watch
Oh and Ride It is still magnificent (especially the vid when she's playing tennis)

I voted Mel B - through it all I think she is by far the best, but obviously Geri was everything I ever wanted to be back in 1996 but then my balls dropped.
I can't stop saying "it's soo inah-pproah-priate" after the press conference.

So having an eating disorder now constitutes promoting bullimia? If one of them had cancer, would you be accusing them of promoting that too? The best Spice Girl is VB. By love of her had waned slightly, but the 'documentary' last week was hilarious.

Why exactly are you on these forums if you hate everything the people on here unashamedly love? I grew up with the Spice Girls, and I feel no shame whatsoever in admitting that I love them, or other things like Harry Potter which you trashed somewhere else. There's a lot of things I hate but I don't wander into the lair of those who love them just to mouth off. It's called lowculture for a reason. Lighten up, mate. Spice up your life. And coming from someone who thinks it's acceptable to call fourteen year old nazis sexy, I really don't think you have the right to comment at all on the appropriateness of, well, anything. Especially not anything to do with children. Geri definetly ftw. OH NO! OMG! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geri_Halliwell#Political_affiliationsI totally never knew that! I can no longer love her. I can still love her outfits though. What a fud.

I love you Sarah. Every good 'lighten up' speech should end with 'Spice up your life'.
I forgot that Geri ever called Thatcher the "original Spice Girl". Something tells me she never pinched Prince Charles' bum in her time or, if so, it was very well covered up.

Geri would have called Rosemary West the original spice girl if it meant she'd gotten headlines and sold records. And no one took Adam Rickitt seriously on Question Time... The whole interview that they did with The Spectator 11 years ago can be seen !!!here!!!

I've said it before on other threads but seeing somebody who's got an eating disorder doesn't give people eating disorders. If it did then there'd be a heck of a lot more people with eating disorders, for a start.
I idolised Geri when I was little, I thought she was ace. When she went all skinny I certainly didn't think, 'ooh, I'll be bulimic now' though.
I dye my hair red once every few years though, so I think the Geri worship is still there, hiding...

Geri, all the way. Plus, she's shagging a billionairre now too. That'll put Victoria's nose out of joint, and further sink Scary into a vat of self depression with her now being poor spice. Although I do like them all bar Emma and Scary, even though I do love Avid Merrians Scary. Fook me.
