Has anyone been to see Viva Forever yet? Is it as bad as it's meant to be?

I saw it after about six gin and tonics and three pints and loved it. Looking back, though ,it was awful and I hope to God that the rumours they're totally re-writing it are true.

I saw it, largely sober, and really enjoyed it. And I'm not really a theatre fan. Musicals, even less so.
It was very Jennifer Saunders, which in my book is a good thing. And I thought the songs worked really well. Most people's gripe seemed to be that there were very few singles, but then, if you go to a brand new musical, you won't know ANY songs.
In terms of a reworking, it does need it: there were a couple of storylines that were really built up that pretty much dissolved into nothing. But the song arrangements were good, the cast were excellent (Lucy Montgomery in particular) and my main issue was wanting the audience to shut the hell up with their singing along, cos I'm grumpy like that.
