Their new single is apparently out on the 3rd of September and shall be called "Sexy! No! No! No!". What a terribly fantastic title.
EDIT: I have just checked their (bloody rubbish) website and this is true, though the single is actually called "Sexy! No, no, no...". Still quite good really.

That's ace! Also ace for the fact I'll be back at uni then and will be able to dance to it as my hometown is a club-free zone.
Thank god it's not that "the boys are back in town" backing track from the shampoo advert (at least I hope it's not).

Popjustice says that Chris Moyles will be premiering this tomorrow morning. I have to get up early, so that'll soften the blow.
I wish the media would pace themselves a bit. A brand new Girls Aloud single the day before the final harry Potter book? My little heart may not take such excitement! What's on Sunday? The Doctor Who Christmas Special?

I don't have to leave the house until 10.15 tomorrow so I might just put Radio 1 on and tape the entire show on an audio cassette so I can play it over and over on my audio cassette player.

I don't like it, well not as a lead single anyway. It sounds like one of the mental-racketty album tracks like Grafitti My Soul and Wild Horses that are good rather than great. It'll probably grow on me, though this is their first non See The Day single that I haven't liked after a few listens.
There is also too much Nadine and she annoys me in this. Nicola deservedly has the best bit though.

This may come over a bit fan club, but anyway....
"IT IS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!" (the train noises are the best bit)
I need to go and sit for a while until the undoubtedly 'pile of shite' video arrives.

Am I missing train noises? Where abouts do they pop up?
EDIT: Ah, the woo-ooh woo-ooh quickbits? Wild Horses did it better.

Apparently you can hear the sound of a tap running at one point but am struggling to identify it - as well as most of the lyrics.
Do love it lots (especially Kimberley early on) but it's not massively radio-friendly is it? I'm sure it's a grower - in Xenomania I trust.

I didn't like The Show or Something Kinda Oooh at first so I'm not going to comment untill I've heard more of it.
Saying that though, it does sound like an album track and doesn't seem to go anywhere on the first listen

The first 30 seconds are amazing. The following 2 minutes 30 are filler.

A week after the initial hearing, I'm loving it. It helps that I googled (someone's interpretation of) the lyrics and it makes such sense.
And it's so much fun you can even sing your own lyrics to it.

The first 30 seconds are amazing. The following 2 minutes 30 are filler. I thought that at first but the rest of the song's growing on me now. It seems to improve with each listen, and I'm thinking I might start classing it in the 'Biology'/'Love Machine'/'The Show' etc group of amazing GA singles.

Nicola! Where are your lovely ginger tresses?!? I didn't even recognise her.

Yeah, she needs the ginger back. Otherwise those pictures are ace. I wish the video would hurry its way onto Youtube.

Someone at GA HQ must've rented The Cell over the weekend. I love Kimberley's dress, it's like a sexier version of Therese's balloon dress in Feelin' Me.

As I thought would happen, I now love it. Though I'd love it even more if it was an album track as I still don't think it's single material

What cruel shadows. Poor Kimberley. I still don't think this song is much cop. It needs a tune.

Oh dear, that's very unfortunate. She looks like Missy Elliot in that video where she wore an inflatable bin bag.

VIDEO: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=z2bnQRhjC5EI like the fact that they're modelling both clothes for the stick thin lady, as well as maternity dresses. I don't like the fact that they only move their top halves.

I rather love it, and it reminds me of Pet Shop Boys, Very era. But without hats, and with ladies. Which is good. Not that I have anything against hats. Does anyone still wear a hat?

Bugger me they look HOT......
However, I do hope they're not going to get all serious on us. The best thing about Girls Aloud is the end-of-the-pier-esque quality, and dressing up in lots of PVC and using moody lighting sort of destroys that likeable common factor.
The Show still keeps the best Girls Aloud video trophy.
Nice that they've earned a budget from the Greatest Hits CD though

Hmm it's still not a massively high budget video though, really. It's just a bit fancy for the Aloud, but they don't need superexpensive videos cos they're so ace. Well my verdict on song and video is: mental, and therefore great.

They get on my nerves and make me look like a dick. Famous hat wearers that spring to mind: Samuel L Jackson Jay Kay: The Hairy Hat Man: www.thegoldenera.net/current_famous_hat_wearers.html

I rather like it. By GA video standards it's excellent, but I suppose that's not saying much. A massive improvement on the terrible 'Something Kinda Ooooh' video, though.
