Has anybody heard Hoxton Heroes, the rather aces B-Side to CSF which has NME readers up in arms?
"You took some acid back in '99/you said it blew your mind/and it helped you write rhymes/so you bought a trilby and a cheap guitar/thinking that you'd be a star/it didn't get you that far"
Better still, Nicola has the chorus to herself

I heard that Girls Aloud were filming in my uni's library today. Not sure if it's true though.

Well they've kept up their top ten run, just, with *I* Can't Speak French going in at number 9, which makes me glad I spent all of £4 on the two cd singles this week,.
I had friends over for lunch yesterday and played Je Ne Parle Pas Français for my French speaking friend who isn't a fan. He thought it was Patsy Kensit to begin with, but found it quite difficult to understand the lyrics.

Apparently the next single is 'Black Jacks'. Suprising and a bit dissapointing.

I hope it's just an awful rumour. It so needs to be Girl Overboard ("no doubt about it" etc), or Close To Love.
If it is to be their last single (does everyone sort of feel that the tour will be their last hurrah?), then it needs to be a stomper with suitably filthy lyrics.

Ok out of spoiler tags I have to say I had a great time but it was way too short- they were on stage for less than an hour and a half and I'll warn you now that while the encore is fabulous there is just one song!! Anyway, to the spoilers: They did Girl Overboard!! Sadly there was no dancers and they barely did anthing- therefore I conclude it will not be the next single Their voices actually sucked big time for me- I didnt notice last time but tonight I was like "ouch!" Not Nicola though- she was good. The stage was ok if a little dull. Nice projections for some songs. The Push cover sorta fell flat for everyone- I'd drop it if I were them. With Every heartbeat was crap on Jo whiley and time has not improved it. The have a couple of hot dancers- one used to be on "The One and Only- he is FINE. Nicola plugged her makeup line and thanked the fans on their messageboard for their positivity- which was nice. Sarah looked like a scarecrow. Highlight was, like GH tour, Jump- it was FIERCE. Here are some shit pics s74.photobucket.com/albums/i255/christy_kins/?action=view¤t=SNV31854.flvMy hot man!

Did anyone else go? I went on Saturday and thought it was truly immense. I had a bit of a moment when the bridge came down, as we ended up being about 2 feet away from them all.
And my friend burst into tears during Call The Shots.
I feel a little embarrased with myself if I look back, but it was seriously wonderful.

I was there on Friday night, and I loved it when Cheryl sang a couple of lines from Kelis's "Trick Me"!

We don't love her because she's beautiful, she's beautiful because we love her. The reunion hasn't quite gone to plan, along with Sarah Harding's facial tweaking. I'm not going to the tour but I expect it to be amazing. On The Metro has quickly become one of my favourite Girls Aloud songs.

"Standing over the basin I've been washing my face-in." is a dreadful lyric.
They should have released On the Metro as the second single. Also this...
...is the most uncalled-for solo release since Liz McClarnon's cover of Woman in Love.

I wonder who would win in a Melanie C/Kimberley worst solo girl group West End Classics album-off.

It's best to stick to what your good at, and there's nothing wrong with being the fifth member of a girl band.
