I think this is sort of fantastic, but it does essentially rip off Duck Tales.

Isn't it Alphabeat?
Blimey you're right, it does sound a bit like Duck Tales when you think about it. That's definitely a good thing in my book though

I'm going to see Alphabeat soon.
I can't decide if they're patently awful, or just incredibly chipper.
If you can search out a track called 10,000 Nights Of Thunder, it's essentially more of the same, but I personally prefer it.

For a second I thought Ultrabeat, who did Pretty Green Eyes a few years ago had made a comeback covering the Alphabeat song, which would probably be horrific.
I really like Fascination now, although I wasn't keen on it at all when I first heard it.

I liked it, thought it sounded like something from a cheesy musical, then didn't, now do again.
But it's mainly just Ducktales.

I downloaded their album and it sorta does your head in after a few tracks.

I saw them live at the Borderline fairly recently - absolutely loved Touching Me, Touching You!

Everytime I hear Alphabeat I think 'this is what Same Difference should have been doing'.

Everytime I hear Alphabeat I think 'this is what Same Difference should have been doing'. SO right! I like them. They have a niave, really thrown together at the last minute, amateurish quality to them. My housemate calls them a 'bedroom band'. But that's half the brilliance for me. Another friend wants to punch Stina (the girl) in the face. And I'm not sure if I want to sechs Anders SG (boy singer) or not. I probably would though he looks very simple.

I have played that song incessantly, I am only just getting tired of it.

I was dicussing this with my boss the other day, and I decided I would, because he just seems really happy, and she said that she couldn't, because he just seems really happy.
I do love them outside of that though. Both this one and the other one.

I really want to sechs Anders but I'm a little perturbed by his nostrils.
Go Go on the album is all things aces (Chic are back!) and deserves to feaure an Alcazar remix.

It took me a while, but I am now hooked to this album.
I think I prefer the original European version though, as the version of 'Boyfriend' is better, and the UK release omits this:
I saw them at the Wonky Pop thing, and they are really good live, and Anders is rather hot. He also makes 'those sorts of faces' at regular intervals, which is highly amusing.
