Live action 1970s/early 1980s Disney rocks! This was my first favorite film of all time. It still makes me cry. I want a big, clumsy dragon to be my best friend and blow fire at my family. I want a life being chased by snake oil salesmen. I want to live in a lighthouse. I want to be adopted by nice, sweet Helen Reddy who can be tough when she wants to be. I still know every piece of dialogue and song by heart. I love Pete's Dragon.

Plus, Pete's 'real' family were the Dingles of 70s cinema.

And why did Pete's Dragon become invisable?
Because they ran out of money and it halved the illustration budget.
