It's great in a terrible way, thus perfect! The fact that the nuclear warhead actually goes off, and everyone probably dies from radiation poisoning in a few days time anyway doesn't even come into it. The family end up altogether. Ahhh. I love how you can just tell they weren't even pretending to take it seriously when they were making it and just acknowledged how ludicrous the whole premise is. Check the Goofs section on its IMDB page to see just how amateurish it really is - lowculture at its finest!

I totally second Showgirls. It is the most fabulous piece of shitty filmaking I have ever seen. Jesse out of Saved By the Bell "sexily" tossing her hair around whilst shagging what's his face off Sex and the City in the swimming pool is utterly hilarious. truly, truly awful. I was warned not to watch this, but i thought "its Paul Verhoeven, it'll be alright..." the worst part is the ending, where the very same guy picks Nomi up on the highway, just like in the beginning. FFS ...

There's one called Runaway Car or something.
Judge Rheinhold car has no brakes and he's going to crash and die and they drag this out for 90 minutes.

FFS ... But it's not meant to be alright. It's meant to be a car crash display of crass sexuality, bad acting, camp lines, predictable storylines and general bad girl antics. The whole thing is a parody of the rags to richesAmerican Dream-movie crap. Plus it has the ancillary benefits of being utterly high-larious from beginning to end.

Showgirls It never ceases to amaze me that every single scene, every bloody single scene she runs out after having been offended. Honestly, EVERY SCENE! I really can't emphasise that enough.
EVERY SCENE!
Apart from maybe some scenes which she's not in. But I can't remember those. And admittedly I've never managed to watch the whole thing.
What about Anaconda? Jon Voight's performance is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen ever, featuring the best leering I've... ever seen ever. Also that woman says 'You brought the snake! You brought the devil!' and the terrifying animatronic creature in question looks uncannily like Salem the cat. With added Ice-cube-berg-T and J-Lo action!
