Who exactly is the What's Going On Mum, why have I never seen her and is it actually as funny as I imagine it to be?

Who exactly is the What's Going On Mum, why have I never seen her and is it actually as funny as I imagine it to be? The What's Going On Mum was Mrs. Owen, the mother of Rus (Rug), Liam/Sam (the Goood Rapist), and (Cabbage-Patch) Nicole. The kids kept all their problems secret from her so she was forever asking "What's going on!?". It wasn't that funny.

At the end of Hollyoaks: In the City, Ben was accidentally shot and presumably killed by girlfriend Lisa. That was a year ago. Why have various Hollyoaks characters (Lisa's friend Steph or fellow clap carrier Jake/Ben's mates Tony and Jake/Ben's ex-girlfriend Louise) never discussed what happened to Ben and Lisa?
They're following the wisdom of the viewing public and pretending Hollyoaks: In the City never existed.

I can't allow a conversation about Hollyoaks in The City pass without putting my tuppence in about how amazing it was.
The forty five second mark made watching the whole series worthwhile but on a serious note, they did the whole Philip Olivier secret gay thing really well. Obv anything involving the Atkinson will be a piece of crap but she was easy to ignore.

Philip was good, as were the shots of him 95% naked, but the teacher-student angle got on my nerves. I don't really know why he was attracted to the student, other than they were the only two gay characters around. I still cringe at the memory of those final scenes where he got hissy because when he took a gorgeous, newly out gay man to a gay club, /shock/ the gorgeous, newly out gay man went wild and had hunks all over him. /shock/ Those scenes of the student running off to cry ugly tears worked much better when Oaks did them for John Paul a few months later. Maybe they can try a Phil Olivier gay teacher/JP crossover. We can find out he was Becca's long-lost gay brother.

Who's the goth?
The inappropriately attractive (and stupidly named) Newt is not a goth. He is an emo. It means emotionally hardcore (Jack Osborne, 2007).

Though I did love Hollyoaks In The City - it took so bad it's good to a whole new level.

Ask Bryan Kirkwood. We're sure he'll be happy to tell you. Over and over again.

Q) I have heard mention of a "Magical Vag[ina]". Do we know the extent of its powers? As a homosexual, should I be concerned?
Q) How did the "Mandy Richardson University Of Chester" come to be so named?

A) Oh yes, very much so. It gained its name through its power to seduce the gays (amongst others).
A) Well, the boring answer is it happened somewhere in one of the threads, but I'm sure there is a witty response to be had.

Not particularly witty, but:
2) I named it. It's because H.C.C. does every course from law to fashion to film-making to teacher-training, so it can hardly be described as a community college.

Maybe someone should write to the ... erm, writers.

It's more of a Care In The Community College really anyway, what with all the psychos, perverts, paedophilles and chavs there.

Whoever in the world wrote that bio has a guaranteed dry ride from me, anytime they want!
'Left because of abuse' 'Trivia' 'Carrie is intelligent and will usually act as though she is naive or unaware of what is going on in her children's lives, whilst she is really picking up more than she lets on'
Wikipedia's existance is justified purely for the existence of this article.

Now that Katie has left Hollyoaks, does Chief Storyline Tointon still hold her position?

Now that Katie has left Hollyoaks, does Chief Storyline Tointon still hold her position? Didn't she leave so she could devote more time to crafting carefully thought out storylines and developing interesting, believable and consistently written characters? And to learn hairdressing? I'm sure I read that on Digital Spy. And Digital Spy is another word for FACT.

So is she now Chief Storyliner and Chief Stylist Tointon?
|

She is Chief Storyliner Tointon Monday through Wednesdays.
On Thursdays, she leaves the Storylining to the Random Couple Generator (c), while she busies herself with the hair. Thursdays consequently provide the audience with a 'hilarious' romantic connection, only for it to be forgotten by Friday, when both Storylining and Stylist roles are carried out by work experience kids from the local comp.
General consensus has it that Friday's episodes are the best, both in terms of the deep and powerful writing, and the power fringes.

Why was John Paul, once so mighty, now so shit?
If it turns out to be true, would the return of Craig make JP amazing again or simply unredeamable?
