I came across this by accident and I have no idea when it is released but it has the most fantastic cast! Jane Asher! Daisy Donovan! Ewan Bremner! Kris Marshall! Jane Asher! Keeley Hawes and Matthew McFadyen! Jane Asher! And it's directed by Yoda. The trailer is here

Oh my, this does look like it might be more in the BBC3-on-Pulling-form vein of British comedy instead of the usual shite. Alas Matthew Macfadyen appears to have got quite chunky of face lately, how has that happened?
Mercifully Alan Tudyk appears to take his clothes off at some point, as if to make up for it.

There are posters for this all over bus stops in Glasgow, and the first thin I noticed was The Asher.

Saw this at a free screening yesterday. Didn't know much about it but was expecting it to be rather twee light-hearted Sunday evening TV fare, but it was a lot more farcical than that. And really quite funny in places too.
The guy who plays the gay dwarf steals the film but the rest of the cast are great too, although Ewan Bremner's character was a bit redundant and Jane Asher only gets about four lines. And yes, Alan Tudyk does appear naked for about half the film.

As you may appreciate from the earlier posts, I was quite looking forward to this, and it didn't let me down.
Jane Asher doesn't appear in it very much, sadly, although she does try to physically assault someone, but the guy who plays Howard is fantastic. The scene in the toilet with Uncle Alfie made me laugh more than I should.
And even though I'm not a Hollyoaks watcher, I was amused that it's written by Dean Craig.
Movie watch rating: 7

I’ve watched this film and the RadioTimes rating is correct. Indeed it’s 1/5. I thought it was such a poor attempt at black comedy. Very unfunny and the editing/script was bad. Waste of a really good cast.
