Best. Gameshow. Ever.
You can buy the first US series, and the first US Celebrity Mole (less good, but still great, and Erik von Detten wears low-clung swim shorts in on episode) from Amazon UK, imported from the US, for peanuts. Make sure you can pay US DVDs, yadda yadda.
It's absolutely brilliant. Basically, ten people (or so) are whisked away to another country (normally) and take part in all sorts of physical and mental games - think Interceptor, with a bit of Treasure Hunt and (if you're old) The Adventure Game) - which, if they win, adds money to the prize pot. However, one of the team is working undercover to try and stop the team winning - this person being, obviously, The Mole. At the end of each show all the contestants answer a quiz about The Mole (including, obviously, 'Who is The Mole?'). Whoever gets the fewest correct is 'executed' (not literally). This goes on until we're left with a winner, a loser, and The Mole. I've seen the second UK series, both US ones and the first US celebrity one and they are *brilliant*. So clever! So entertaining! They show up on the Sky channel Player (#123 I think) sometimes. Watch!
The final episode is always a hoot, as you not only realise how brilliantly the Mole sabotaged some games but how brilliantly the winners played the game too. Your feeelings towards people turn on a sixpence once you realise their gameplan. Amazing. It's a bit like The Murder Game, done right (ie, without the crappy 'pot luck' element).
(Please don't reveal who was The Mole or winner in any other series, as I'm hopefully getting copies of the others in Australia, the US and UK soon)
