Lily Allen dragged Mark Ronson into the mediocre range (seriously Lily - needing the lyrics on a bit of paper that you've done so many times isn't great).
Groove Armada seemed to be very good - but I can't believe Mutya didn't turn up to warble a bit. She's got nothing else to do...
I skipped The Verve.
I always get a bit sad when watching/reading about Glastonbury every year. I always love it and think it sounds amazing, but I never have the balls to go and get a ticket, as I know me attending would be an EPIC FAIL.
(I'm looking into Bencassim next year though - same thing with sunshine and sand sounds much more me)

Boo, I wanted to see Neil Diamond but never caught him on any of the footage I watched. Every year I hate Edith Bowman and "Zane" Lowe even more.
Winehouse was hilarious. She isn't really suited to the festival environment but (literally) made a mean fist of it. I was so worried for her all the way through, what with the massive hair, squished boobs and impractical shoes. I love her backing singers, they really do hold it all together.
I only really wanted to like Jay Z because (a) I didn't want to be in the boring old haterz camp with Noel and (b) I hoped his missus might help him out (how great would have Crazy in Love have been?). I'm disappointed in myself that I found him a bit uninteresting, I really am a boring old fart.

Winehouse is looking increasingly like a crazy bag lady. But she was still fabulous; teetering on the edge of insanity but somehow managing to stay upright. Her band was superb as well - they held it together when everything else was falling apart. Being in Amy Winehouse's band must be one of the toughest jobs in showbiz - you must need to be borderline psychic to prepare yourself for every possible eventuality. Though I did like it when she stopped them and made them start 'Rehab' again - in your face, Paula Abdul! She was fabulously entertaining to watch, but in terms of lyrical coherence it was all a bit of a shambles. Though the whole thing was worth it for the moment when she pushed her boobs back up into her top, and for the cocktail umbrellas in her hair.

I was right down the front and being in the thick of it all it's hard to actually pay attention to whether she actually sounded good or not, but listening to some of it on the radio the next day, she was BRILLIANT vocally, and I mean that sincerely, absolutely stunning. Usually she isn't all that great live.

Winehouse's band really do practice some sort of vodoo. I saw her the day Blake got locked up and one minute she was perfect but mostly she was dreadful, but they somehow managed to hold most songs together.
I thought Jay-Z was absolutely stunning, it just goes to show good songs transcend genres. It gave all those precious indie wankers a kick up the arse that Kylie should have administered a few years ago.

Every time you think the awful hag couldn't become more of a self-parody she goes and writes something like that. Yes Liz, walking around carrying your bag is like FLEEING KOSOVO.
Not that I'm sure that isn't an accurate representation of what it must be like for a Daily Mail reader to attend Glatonbury : "what's all this MUD doing here? Why are things so NOISY? Why is that lady pretending to be BLACK by singing BLACK music? Why can't it all be like the 70s again? Wah wah wah."

Isn't that just the legendary Chaislyne item from last year, only with all the humour and purpose ruthlessly stripped out?
