Moving away from JK Rowling's vagina..... I don't think the titles are things she has set in stone, I think that's more likely to be things like what will happen at the end, or A to B- how we get there would be changeable I imagine. I would sacrifice any of them for the lovely Snape to live but I fear he will have to die. Lovely Snape is surely an Oxymoron? I would be enormously surprised if he died. I get the feeling we have a lot to learn about Snape yet.

JK recently said a few things about the new book; - There's more to Aunt Petunia than meets the eye, and we'll find out what's unique about her in Book 7. - Don't expect Dumbledore to pull a Gandalf. - Dumbledore IS really dead. "Everyone needs to move through the five stages of grief" and get past his death. She also apologizes to DumbledoreIsNotDead.com for ruining the purpose of their site. - Author Salman Rushdie, along with his son, came to ask, after a detailed theory, if Snape is good or bad. Jo replied that "your opinion was correct." Rushdie's opinion, unfortunately, was hard to follow. - While taking a shower before the reading today, Jo said that she had come up with a different title for Book 7 that would work better than her current title. No word on which title will be used, though. from www.mugglenet.com/app/news/show/248

I SAW JK YESTERDAY
Thought I'd share that with you. Unfortunately I was on a coach and she was in the street and I could not accost her, but I did shout "THERE'S JK ROWLING!!!!!!!" and still I was the only person who saw her.

It must be sooooo soon until a date is announced.
As I've said before, an 07/07/07 publishing date would mean a announcement at the beginning of January.

A door has opened on JK's website, and the book 7 title is...
"Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows"
We all know what to expect now then, don't we?

I am deathly excited.
Mugglenet are predicting an autumn 2007 release, as 07/07/07 coincides with movie 5 promotion and the anniversary of the London bombings.
Those terrorists destroy all my fun.

07/07/07 is what I call "The Day of the Month of the Year", I don't know why, but it only happens for 12 years every one hundred years, the next time it's going to happen after 2012 is in 2101 = 01/01/01. I am a Harry Potter fan too, but I have to wait until 07/07/07 for the movie "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" I just love the book.

Hopefully it will be 07/07/07, then I can buy it to read on the plane.
Apparently theres bets on Voldemort to kill Harry and Harry to kill Harry, as long as Snape doesn't die I don't really care who does. Except Luna and Fang.

I want to put a bet on Hermione being the one to kill Harry. Seriously. If that's how book seven ends, I will forgive JKR anything. Even "I know. Hermione Granger told me."

It's not on mugglenet yet, but it does say the UK version will have 608 pages and the US 784. Does anyone know why the US have more pages?

The UK Proper cover looks rubbish. It's like they're being pelted with Wotsits.

the adult copy is much better. I am so glad that's the one my mate has ordered for me. I have 3 kids copies and (soon) 4 adult ones. 4 paperbacks, 3 hardbacks. I have no continuity.

Heh, that's so cool. My Uncles are boring, although I did find out a few months ago that one of them had some sort of crazy breakdown when a girl dumped him and he put a live snake through her letter box.
Oh Hermione, get some hair straighteners you big bushy mess.

I was arguing with a friend that I thought rich 18 year old Harry would've gone to Specsavers years back. I am sure his round glasses haven't been mentioned in years, and he only had them because it's what the Dursleys would have given him. Eyes change so most people need new glasses every few years.
I am appalled that the glasses still feature in the cover. Harry is supposed to be all "fanciable" now he's older. In the cover he looks like Guy Secretan.
