I re-read this tonight. Well, I watched it on YouTube. But I'll be going home this weekend so I'll dig the paperback out and hopefully I can get through most of it at some point. Completely brilliant. Although the ending basically reads like a sexual assault.
"A taste of your own medicine!" Sorry, just ruined the punchline there.
Of course, if you're just watching the cartoons for the fantastic synthy background music, you're better off with Little Miss Tiny, Little Miss Naughty or Little Miss Late, but they're all good.
Um, the books are good too, as I said.
I would give it nine out of ten. That is my book review of this book.

I have been reading these (to my chilblains) and they are all actually quite evil with suspect (but realistic) morals. There is no turning the other check in the world of Little Miss, its all about arranging retaliatory beatings.

There's definitely something of the mafioso about Little Miss Magic.
I think the dubious morals are my favourite bit.

Call me a gender traitor, but I never accepted the Little Misses. It had to be Mr Men for me. Mr Tickle was my favourite because he could get a biscuit out of the kitchen cupboard while lying in bed, which is still something of a fantasy for me. However, if I'd known the Little Miss books were full of violence and retribution I would have been more interested.

There's definitely something of the mafioso about Little Miss Magic. I think the dubious morals are my favorite bit. There is no something about it! She as good as amputates Mr Tickles arms and only puts them back once she has blackmailed him into agreeing to her demands. Demands which frankly render him virtually pointless, one tickle a day? He does get his revenge although I suspect she turns him into a newt or something. I like Little Miss Splendid, mainly because I can read it in a fabulously snotty voice.

I have far too many copies of Mr Tall due to people giving me unoriginal gifts (not that I'm ungrateful or anything).
