Extremely distressingly, over the last year or so I do seem to have gotten into DC Comics, in some weird development-of-a-youth-flashback thing (I remember I used to buy Batman comics as a kid).
As a result every few weeks I trail down to the scary environment of Forbidden Planet and buy a wee bundle of usually-female-starring comics like Birds of Prey, Supergirl and Wonder Woman (my boyfriend says this is all very gay).
I've always been geeky about things like Doctor Who but does this really signal the end? (ie - will I become Elliot from Hollyoaks?).

What's worse is the DC Universe has gone to shit after they decided to their annual 'big event and let's mix everything up' and now it seems almost every title is intertwined and no-one has any idea what's going on (much less the characters).
To avoid becoming Elliot just don't buy some 1980s NHS glasses and superglue a teacosy to your head.

I agree, it is all becoming confusng. I think I am ramping down the brief comics revival I had, which should save me some money at least.
