Nearly every DS owner i've spoken to think Mario Kart needs bought if you have one. Me and my best friend are desperate for a DS lite, but can't afford it.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Nothing matches the fun of yelling "OBJECTION!" into the speaker, believe me.

I think you'll find tapping the stylus on the bottom screen in time to "Material Girl" while in the top screen animals prepare food for two girls trapped on a Desert Island matches it perfectly.

I'd recommend "PuzzleQuest" - it's an RPG (stay with me) and even if you don't like them, you'll love it, because instead of playing geeky battles against people, you play a game of Bejewelled, which is a game on the internet that's a bit like Tetris but not quite. I know I haven't explained it well, but it's well worth a look.

Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros. are essential purchases. New twists on old classics, and the multiplayer option in both games is great fun.

Mario Kart is totally recommended - I stole my brother's DS for a week to keep playing it!

I'd say... get a R4 DS card and then PM me for some information.

I just picked up a copy of Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass – it's spiffingly good so far.

I seond that- Phantom Hourglass is easily the best game I have ever played.
Get yourself Yoshi's Island as well if like me you have always held something of a soft spot for the SNES version.

I'm loving Zelda apart from the Phantom Hourglass bits. It's the first Zelda I've played so I've no idea whether this going back to some central location with a bit more time thing has ever come up before but I really HATE re-doing the same puzzles that I've already solved before. And I always run out of time first go anyway.
Otherwise it's brilliant.

Yeah, I'm not so fond of the Hourglass bits either. Mainly cos I keep fucking them up.
Its a new thing for a Zelda game. Its a pity, cos apart from that its just about perfect.
