I'm not sure if anyone will know what I'm talking about, but here goes...
Does anyone remember that computer game, which I'm sure I played in school, where there are little balls bouncing around the screen and you have to create barriers? While you're creating a barrier, the balls can't hit it, or it'll disappear. Once a bit of the screen has been 'fenced off', it changes colour. The object is to get a certain percentage of the screen to change colour, then you try again with an additional ball in play.
If anyone know what I'm talking about, and can remember the name of the game, please let me know, as it is bugging me terribly. There's only so much searching on Google with the words "balls, divide, screen" I can do without losing my mind.
Many thanks!

I know exactly what you're talking about - I used to play it on the Amiga (I think!) and I had it on my old mobile phone too. But I can't for the life of me remember the name. I will remember later I promise...

Sounds a bit like Pac-Xon to me, so it may be something Xon

Very similar, but I'm thinking of a version with balls, so to speak. I do remember Qix as well, though. Sounds a bit like Pac-Xon to me, so it may be something Xon Again, very similar, but I'm remembering the earlier version with Qix-style graphics, rather than the Pacman re-jig.

It sounds a little like Jezzball ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JezzBall) to me. Although I've played a few deriviatives of it over the years (most recently on one of those cheap "games" channels you get on Sky Interactive) I think that's the original.
