Perhaps they're exclusive to daytime, so those of you with 9 to 5 lives may not be familiar, but Christ they are awful. They're like little news items presented by a VERY SERIOUS lady to give information on a variety of mundane products that are already plugged by ads of their own. I've seen a Frubes one hundreds of times, along with others including an Ambi Pur one. They come complete with scrolling ticker style words on screen to give even more information. Perhaps the ad guy behind them would rather be covering natural disasters for News 24, and is using yoghurts and air freshner as his audition tape to them.

Isn't there one for "the shittest product on earth" Tilda Rizazz rice as well?
I don't know what it is about Tilda Rizazz flavoured rice, I just can't see why anyone in their right mind would find it appetizing.

Yes there is! I'd forgotten about that.
Tilda Rizzaz is great. You need to realise this ScissorSister. I like to over microwave it by a minute or two so it starts to clump together and go crunchy. Mmmmm.

I was wondering if the Frubes advert was just being intentially bad. I used to think the same was true of the "Ambasodor you are really spoinling us" ad. It is always on during the adverts on the Jeremy Kyle show. God how smug is that man?

I miss daytime tv advents. They really are a different species to the ones I get to see.

I am at a total loss about the Brand Power ads. What's the point? I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice, I was just looking for ANSWERS! Damit. Sorry. x

Isn't there a new rival to Brand Power now where bints discuss the advantages of various Nestle cereals? It wasn't a straight up nestle ad, it was very Brand Poweresq, called something like Info crew or similar

Is that the one where she's like 'I feed my child a bowl full of biscuits every morning but it's called Cookie Crisp and it says vitamins on the box so I don't feel guilty, plus it's easier than saying no to my child'?

At the end of the advert, it says at the bottom of the screen, "To join Ellie, Sarah and Petra (or whoever they are) as Info Crew reps, go to..." and there's a webpage. Maybe we should audition.
Brand Power is still about, though - it's puff pastry at the moment.

Yes, that's the one. Basically it's the 3 most disgusting cereals available, that, Nesquick and another one - Vommo pops probably - and they get the mums to justify their existence. I had forgotten about the website where you can apply bit. It'll note it down next time. I love the new puff pastry one and the fact it gives recipe ideas now for people too lazy to even read the side of the packet. It's genius!

ZOMG, we have to be some Brand Power hags. But I don't think they do a Brand Power for vodka and repeats of Murder, She Wrote.
