As I was leaving work tonight I was confronted by a huge picture of Nick Hancock and a fish! Be warned - it premieres during Hells Kitchen tonight!

He use to present 'They think it's all over' and 'Room 101' back in the day. According to google he has his own fishing tv show on some Discovery esc channel.

Are you sure it wasn't just Nick Hancock, standing around holding a fish? He seems an odd choice to advertise something like a supermarket now that it's no longer the 90s.

And didn't he retire and go into mortgages or something?
Any charity shop you can think of has half a dozen of his videos about hilarious footballing gaffes.

And now Gabby Logan (er, I think)
I'm sure people must be highly confused with the Take That music on these ads - those boys are M&S harpies.

Alan Hansen and his trolley telling me that Morrisons have now got half price on all nappies made me laugh a lot.
I'm not sure why. It was just quite out of the blue. Or *shudders* WELL RANDUM.

Apparently Take That reallyyyyyy didn't want us to the use the song and only agreed for a lot of money the night before the Denise advert went out.
There is now a lovely Denise/Alan/Gabby cardboard cut out thing going on in works reception - I want to know where Nick is???

I just saw one with that gardening guy whose name is like Diamond but isn't Diamond.
Had I never visited a Morrisons I might shop there on the strength of these adverts, but I have, and not even Jane Asher pushing a trolley over Mount Snowdonia would get me back in there.

I'm glad I know that - it'll stop me holding my head and asking "Why? ?" every time these ads come on. I know they're a boy man pop band, but it still upset me that they would lower themselves so

Gabby Logan. When she's not dancing around like a fookweet. Gabby really needs to sort out her hair, that new cut makes her look really ugly. ....and Alan Hanson can just fuck right off.

The new Morrisons Christmas ad is filmed where I hail from - Tunbridge Wells - in the famous Pantiles.
However, there is no Morrisons in Tunbridge Wells. In fact Sainsbury's is 2 minutes away from Lulu and her empty trolley.
It kind of ruins the magic (although it does look very pretty).

I actually got quite excited by the Xmas Morrisons ad. All the celebrities from the previous adverts cropping up and being jovial with each other. It's almost as if someone's thought about continuity.

Lulu does go noticeably more Scots when she's being rude to Alan Hansen.

Lulu does go noticeably more Scots when she's being rude to Alan Hansen. I happened to watch the joyful daytime quiz experience that is Dirty Rotten Cheater yesterday. One of the questions was "Think of a famous Scottish person", and for some bizarre reason, Lulu popped into my head. She wasn't in the audience's top ten, though. Mary Queen of Scots was. Maybe my standards weren't high enough.

Every time I hear Alan Hanson say "What a corker!", which feels like it has been every commercial break today, I want to give him another scar on his face.

So that's how Lulu affords to keep herself in plastic surgery despite having been DOWN THE DUMPER for about FORTY YEARS. Shopping at MORRISON's. The cat's out of the bag now.

When Denise waves from the balcony in the Christmas ad, is someone being shagged behind her?

When Denise waves from the balcony in the Christmas ad, is someone being shagged behind her? It was probably in Take That's contract to let Morrisons use the song.

Bloody Lulu. I despise this advert (partly because I despise her).
"Do you see, I'm pushing my trolley down a high street because shopping in Morrison's is JUST LIKE SHOPPING IN A HIGH STREET do you see?! Och, I'm just wee Annie-Marie when I'm in Glesga!"
Didn't she promise to leave the country along with Frank Bruno and Paul Daniels back in 1997 if Labour got in? We're still waiting.
Edited to add: Just noticed, the advertising bit at the top seems to have decided what this thread is an advert for gay jewellery on a sweaty male model. Is Morrison's secretly known for having a backroom or something?
