Computers suck and never work when you want them to, this is a fact which is as solid and set in stone as "The Earth orbits the sun" and "Never buy a car stereo from a member of Blazin' Squad", so Howard Read deserves a great deal of credit for perservering with Little Howard. This years show, apparantly, involves 7 computers, which didn't always work when he wanted them to.
Little Howard is the world's first interactive, animated, six-year old stand-up comedian and appears, for the most part, on a screen chatting to Big Howard and, on occasion, the audience, which is all very impressive and interesting, but is it actually funny? Yes! Thankfully, otherwise it would have been a bit of a waste of my pennies, after the initial 'show off' part with Howard in his My Little Jongleurs comedy club, you quickly forget that Little Howard is anything other than a real cartoon boy, at least until the equipment cocked up a bit, but this was a preview show, so it should probably be sorted out by now. Go see, go see, I reckon this'll be up for the Perrier this year as well.

I like the fact we've set up a special place for Flum to post about the festival.
I'll not make it up to Edinburgh this season so thank you for letting me live vicariously through your posts.
Last thing I saw at the festival was Danii Minogue in Macbeth! That is Low Culture.

I asked Mr Lowculture nicely for this board, but I did point out that I'd probably be the only person posting here so he'd be well within his rights to not bother with it, but I'm very glad he has. I hope it doesn't end up just being a 'me' zone, though.
I hope people are actually interested in reading my half-arsed reviews, as long as at least one person reads 'em, I'll be happy, though I feel that this year I will be more restrained in terms of shows. Last year I saw 35, this year I've only seen 9 so far and I feel that monetary reasons are going to force me to be a little bit restrained, but if anyone wants to pay for me to see a show, then I'll be more than happy to accept your charity. Not that I'm desperate or owt, honestly.
