At first I thought this was a brilliant story (naturally) but the thought of her being in a primetime drama - yuck

Am I the only one who actually likes Davina? Ok, sometimes she's a bit shouty but, really, is she that bad?

She's bad. But her replacement will probably be Fearne Cotton or someone similarly hateful, so lets not celebrate prematurely.

Am I the only one who actually likes Davina? Ok, sometimes she's a bit shouty but, really, is she that bad? She's shouty, she looks like a raven and is generally a bit crap. But so are most TV presenters. What I can't stand about her is the way she totally buys into the Big Brother 'plots' - Glen had a journey, Aisleyne was a bitch, Nikki was awesome, Gerry was boring because he talked about history, Brian was a legend because he was unutterably stupid, and so on. She gives some people tongue baths and tears into others, in the exit interviews. It's obvious, and not very classy.

Yeah, she basically doesn't have her own opinion of the contestants, or rather she hides her real opinion in favour of siding with the crowd of retards who are at the evictions and the non-lowculture idiots that watch the show at home.
I will never forgive her for the Makosi incident.

It's a shame, because in the first couple of series she was awesome. But she and Dermot just became Endemol mouthpieces in the later series.

I used to like her too, but the Makosi interview was so, so unprofessional. And yet, it was Davina that came away from that interview looking the cunt, rather than Makosi. It was the same with Susie and Aisleyne, and that new girl from last year whose name escapes me. Amy, was it? Some of those interviews verged on bullying.
Still, Endemol won't have any trouble finding another braindead fuckwit willing to read off an autocue and generally be their glove puppet. Cotton seems the likely option, but I bet they'll try to snag Willoughby and her saggy norks.

I will never forgive her for the Makosi incident. I think the main difference with the Makosi incident was the crowd were practically baying for her blood. Davina herself seems quite easy to handle- I remember during BB7 her trying to tear into Susie of all people, and Susie just brushed it off. During the final of BB7 Davina gave a backhanded compliment about Aisleyne's boob job, and Aisleyne immediately said hi to her dad in the crowd, which resulted in Davina backtracking slightly and looking embarrassed. Amy in last year's Big Brother also came out the interview well, she seemed very cheerful and pleasent despite the quite accusatory tone of the questions.

Act?! She can't even convincingly talk to her made-up Garnier mum. More worryingly, its her actual (step-)mum.

I don't know how much of this is true but I can't stand her - she's on a par with GMTV Fiona in my eyes... maybe even worse becuase at least Fiona doesn't bang on about how she used to be addicted to heroin but now talks about nothing except her children.

Well I don't think it's hard to tell that Davina doesn't really like Big Brother.

Act?! She can't even convincingly talk to her made-up Garnier mum. More worryingly, its her actual (step-)mum. It's probably her drug dealer but her husband's just stepped in the door - that's why she's laughing (" b-haha-ye m-haha-um"). Davina is at her worst when on another show and almost always tries to upstage and interrupt. What is also uncomfortable is when she suddenly becomes animated and tactile just so the "body language expert" can say something to her (" well, I mean, Davina, you're obviously an ex-heroine addict, I can tell because you're so animated and touchy-feely").
