It's for spring water called Drench and features Brains from thunderbirds dancing to Rhythm is a Dancer. I love it.

Is there anything that the Thunderbirds aren't advertising at the moment?

I forgot how amazing that song is as well.
I'm serious like cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer.

Brains isn't serious as cancer though, which is the one bit of the advert that makes me have sadface. The rest of the ad is ace.

It's on quite often as well. Is Drench new?

No, it's been around a while. Is it owned by Coca-Cola or someone, is that why the big push?

I thought Coca-Cola owned that water that turned out to be from a tap in Slough?

They did, so I wonder if this is the replacement. I could be all kinds of wrong.

It's Britvic, who apparently aren't content with selling nice normal water. Gah, I hate trying to make water more exciting, like that one a few years back. "It's water ...plus!"

There was a US ad which kept popping up in the middle of 'The View' when watching online, for 'Water - with no calories!' It then showed how much exercise you had to do to burn off the calories in 'normal' bottled water. It didn't occur to me that the US pumped sugar into their bottled water, but it didn't surprise me either.

I thought Coca-Cola owned that water that turned out to be from a tap in Slough? It was actually Sidcup. Dasani also turned out to be carcinogenic, owing to the bromate which interestingly wasn't present in the tap water and only appeared after the 'purification' process the manufacturers put it through. (So says Wikipedia anyway.)

I'd have thought Brains would have been better doing an advent for Specsavers rather than Virgil. And Alan was always the cutest Thunderbird.

I expected to hate this advert for the same reason I hated the Cadburys Gorrilla, but I like this one. Maybe it's because the advert actually has something vaguely to do with the product (it's actually in the advert for a start), but it's more likely to be because I like 'Rhythm Is A Dancer' and can't stand 'In The Air Tonight'.

Much as I like the Brain's is a Dancer ad, there is only one TRULY great Thunderbirds advert out there. I thought I'd imagined it for quite some time until my boyfriend found it on youtube:

Ha! That is a wonderful advert.
This one is ok, but the the shortened version they are showing now is better. Fuck off with the long repetitive adverts, advertisers! Having something go on for forty odd seconds doesn't make it 'event' advertising and guarantee you some awards. (actually it probably does sadly, but they won't be awards from me)

jaystevens: please can you use proper spelling and grammar, rather than text speak?
Thanks (and welcome, by the way) x
