I thought I'd start a thread for a couple of reasons...
1) she's in people's minds following the Doctor Who appearance. 2) Murder On The Orient Express is my favourite book ever. 3) I've just finished And Then There Were None and it was amazing.
Other fans out there?

And Then They Were None, and Nemesis, are my favourite books by any author.

Yes, I am a very big fan.
And Then There Were None and Endless Night are my two favourites - ironically, two of the stories never to have had a satisfactory film adaptation made.
Witness for the Prosecution is amazing in play form, less so the short story, but it's even better as Billy Wilder's film.

A Murder is Announced is my favourite so far - I'm slowly working my way through the books, thanks to Bungle pointing out the free itunes plays a few months back.
The book has a fabulous premise. An advert is run in the Chipping Cleghorn Gazette reading "A murder is announced and will take place on Friday, October 29th at Little Paddocks at 6.30pm. Friends, please accept this, your own intimation." The villagers of Chipping Cleghorn meet at the house of Little Paddocks out of curiosity and to allay the fears of the frantic residents. Until the clock strikes 6.30 and all the lights go out...
It's an absolutely amazing book and the final revelation was such a surprise that I almost dropped my book in the bath. Read it!

There was me thinking I'd killed the thread dead.
(Ooops, too late, done it again...)
