After watching "The Supersizers Go Seventies" on iPlayer last week, I decided to look up some more of the ghastly 70s drinks they were having. This turned into 80s drinks, and while watching Adam and Joe's brilliant "The 1980s House" sketch, I was reminded of Taboo, Mirage and Bezique. Thanks to YouTube, you can now watch the very "of their time" ads. Taboo/Mirage: Bezique: The Bezique one looks as if it could've been created by Lee McQueen himself.

ZOMG, I loved that Mirage ad when I was a kid. So much so that I remember pretending to be drunk on it at my parents' friend's party when I was blatantly sipping 7UP. Is that Kate Robbins doing the voiceover? Here are some classics: Shake & Vac Woman eats a Flake suggestively (she looks a bit like Posh bizarrely) This is really odd (what's with the pose at the end?)

And for when you've had too much food and drink...
Get in Shape Girl (which I was BANNED from owning in a rare bout of feminist activism from my mum)
