This film is RUBBASH.
I saw it the other day and have since read loads of favourable reviews with taglines such as "Ben Affleck associated with decent film shocker". It is so crap and with a million twists at the end and then the most rubbash twist ever that makes it seem like it was written by a GCSE drama student.
As Shakira once said, don't bother.

I thought it was OK - kind of average for its type, really.
The twist is a bit dodgy though.

I quite enjoyed it when I saw it a few weeks ago, although I wasn't focused solely on the plot, as my attention was taken by how stunningly handsome Casey Affleck is and whether Michelle Monaghan's nose is totally natural, was meant to look like that on purpose, or made to look like that by an angry plastic surgeon.
I love Amy Madigan and she wasn't in it nearly enough for me and I laughed out loud at the line where the brother is telling Casey and Michelle "My sister has emotional problems" and she replies "No, she's just a CUNT". No one else laughed and one woman looked over at me with disdain.
Amy Ryan was pretty good though and thorougly deserved her Oscar nomination.

I am quite enticed to see this and hope to do so this week, mainly for the Casey Affleck factor. I loved him in Jesse James, I like his perpetually-breaking voice and brilliant actorliness. I quite like cop thriller type things too.
