I lurked on this site for years back in the olden days and I'm so thrilled it's back I've even registered a profile so that I can post. Keep them all coming!

Speaking of which, now that the forums are up and working, how long before we all go to a pub and stare at Poirot's cock again? As I recall, you left before the cock reveal. I'm on twitter as @girlfromessex. My old avatar was a pug dog that failed to win the part of Toto in the Searching for Dorothy show (or whatever it was called. I decided on Zippy this time round as I am too hungover to think of anything else. I can't remember where my status came from.

As I recall, you left before the cock reveal. All the more reason to do it again then, as far as I'm concerned. I missed out first time around...

I do like the implication that David Suchet was standing around just waiting for Steven to leave before he flashed the rest of you.

Have genuinely missed this place. People I know in real life just don't understand TV like lowculture does.

Well I'm very pleased Lowculture is back. I turned into a bit of a creepy lurker after I got dramatically de-karmaed for saying I didn't like the Royle Family Christmas Special, but Strictly and X Factor have certainly been a lot less fun since the forums went, and Hollyoaks has hardly been worth watching.
For those that care about this sort of thing, I'm @thatagnes on Twitter.

Welcome back. Kelly Crabtree was ins touring production of Chicago recently with some equally low cultural co-stars. I didn't go.

I never thought I'd get to post in a Lowculture forum ever again...and I nearly didn't, because I couldn't for the life of me remember my password.
So glad it's back. When the old forum disappeared, that's when I stopped watching Hollyoaks. It just wasn't anywhere near as much fun without LC.
Seeing as everyone was chipping in with this earlier, my twitter name is: @carrotyd.
EDIT: Dead chuffed with my old avatar. The 2008 me had very good taste.

Hello! I really wish I could remember my old password but, sigh, I can't. If there's any way to merge accounts please do let me know - I'm not so keen on the slabface tag.

My favourite thing about the new old forum? We can now 'gift' each other with the gift of proboards+ whatever that is.

How come some of us have annoying little gender icons under our avatars? Can we get rid?

How come some of us have annoying little gender icons under our avatars? Can we get rid? Try under profile settings - I think there was an option to specify gender. I think my username gives away my gender so it doesn't make a great deal of difference for me...

I tried that, it won't let me untick the circle and have it blank.

I think I've cracked it. Click on the little cog icon at the bottom of the board which takes you to a proboards settings page and you should be able to hide it from there

It seems that my old avatar was Jen from Big Brother something or other. No, me neither anymore.
So I've changed it to the lovely Jamelia.

Lovely Jamelia is one of the judges on the Irish version of The Voice along with one of the anonymous members of Westlife (Kian), one of the anonymous members of The Corrs (Sharon) and the token hot "Rocker" one that nobody has heard of (Bressie). Needless to say Jamelia is the best one.

Poor Jamelia. She thinks people are laughing 'with' her.

I love Sharon Corr. I had a dream about her once, where I bumped into her at an airport, and told her how much I loved No Frontiers, which she and Caroline sang, and warned me never to say that to Andrea as she'd get really upset.

Wow. I never thought I'd see the return of lowculture.
Very happy it is back. It made watching many TV shows far more enjoyable.

Hooray!! Lowculture is back!
Lurked her last time and thought I would never post. Happy to be proved wrong.
