From the second I saw Andrea in the auditions, I said she'd win it. I was pretty much joking, but I said it. I can't believe she actually won.
I don't doubt Leah will have a career, but the fact The Voice has been won by two complete non-popstars with totally unremarkable voices is seriously damaging the brand. I highly doubt Will or Jessie will be back next year, if that's the kind of act the show is seen to be producing.
I did love Holly Willoughby's hapless plea to VOTE WHO YOU WANT TO SEE IN CONCERT AND WHOSE ALBUM YOU WOULD BUY AND WHO IS NAMED LEAH MCFALL. Clearly the producers saw Andrea's position after the vote freeze and were desperate to bump it in favour of Leah.

They did kind of ask for that outcome, having spent most of the pre-results time talking about what an amazing winner Leah was going to be. I actually quite liked Andrea - her voice isn't amazing, but it's pleasant enough to listen to and I liked that she was quite sarky in the backstage stuff. I realise it's beyond pointless commenting about this now, and I didn't see much of The Voice, but I agree, I liked Andrea's voice. It's "nice" and pleasant to listen to, and I prefer that any day to Leah's style of singing, which is far too "who cares if it's totally unsuitable for the song you're singing, the important thing is you're showing off every single vocal gymnastic you can do/just exactly how high you can screech" for me.
