Can I have Chris Fountain? He needs the exercise more than my support I think.

I wonder how much Greeno will talk about her legs almost falling off, or whatver it was with her and Mike Smith in that helicopter. Lots, I hope, if she wants to win.

Remember that this list isn't confirmed yet. As such, sweepstake dealings cannot be allocated until next week.
As mentioned perhaps in another thread, Steve Backley was my prediction for a Strictly appearance. He is a lovely, bulky and slightly hairy man, though, so I will be fully supporting him.
I think I might have to nip in and claim Samantha Mumba, though I do hope she's got shorter hair than I remember. Getting that caught in some ice-skates would be a nightmare.

If we're bagsy-ing and that list is indeed correct, then could I request to share La Mumba? She's a young black pretty female ex-popstar who I think is fairly likeable (see Alesha) and I seem to recall her being able to dance alright so SAMANTHA FTW!!
Unlike Muinimula however, I hope her hair is the same length or slightly longer than when I last saw it because I think getting her hair caught in her skates has the potential to be:
-hilarious -excruiciating -endearing -the clincher in making the public vote, or itv fixing it, for her to win -more flattering for her face shape

Do we not pick numbers and then they're allocated against the list of contestants?

Lets hope Samantha Mumba comes across better than she did on that show she did with Harvey Goldsmith not long ago.

Sweepstakes should be random. But I'm in - despite the failures of Ben Ellis and FutureProof

It's probably safer, as with the Strictly sweepstake, to wait until the celebs are all confirmed and choose numbers. Celebs will then be allocated according to skating order on the first show, or voting numbers (which may turn out to be the same thing).

Fine. I'm in. But random numbers got me Leon, last time, and so if I end up with Scott Mills or Michael whatshisface I will not be happy. I want Greeno! Rah.

I'm in. I love a good bit of cheapo ITV rip off with optional male semi-nudity.
I would like Tim please. Being a gay I think he'll be energetic and graceful, or at least more so than Scott Mills who will be shit and truculent.

Roll up! Roll up! We want plenty of participants for this sweepstake, and we don't care if it's sloppy seconds following Strictly and X Factor - it's the only thing that's going to get us through January!

I don't like random number allocation, although I will go with the majority, for what is Lowculture if not a democracy?

I would like Tim please. Being a gay Tim Vincent is a gay? Well, I never. Can I be in too please? I may not actually watch the show, so if there's uneven number or whatnot, please do feel free to ignore me.

I'm in. I never let a quadruple failure stop me from joining another sweepstake (although I did draw Alesha randomly in my work Strictly sweepstake, so I'm definitely getting there).

So I would like to apologise to Mr Vincent's, his family and lawyers until I can be bothered checking.
