I'm still wondering how one calour gas cannister was able to blow up in a well ventilated room, with a fire door propped open bringing in lots of wind.

You are trying to find sense in Waterloo Road?
Heaven help you if you watch Hollyoaks.

I've only ever watched three episodes of this but the info banner said that after the events in this episode the prossie revelation and the cheating students would be the least of everyones worries. I thought "I doubt that..." but I stood corrected.
The kids trapped in the hallway was fairly grim I thought. And I got the impression throughout the scene (possibly because the camera kept crossing the line) that the lock was on the outside so when Bolton or whatever his name was started fiddling with it, I was somewhat surprised.
The thought of new head dying worries me, given that Eva Pope never seems to want to stay in a series long. I'd have doubts about casting such a commitment phobe.

The gas cannister part really was high-larious. They sure know how to write a prime time drama don't they?! And the 'spelling bee' part was good too - considering all the kids had to do was say letters some of them were astonishingly wooden with it.

It would be very silly if Davina had the chance to leave with Jack for Dubai last week, and then goes and dies the following week.
They sure as hell crammed as much into that finale as they possibly could.
I recognised the head from the posh school, but wasn't quite sure where from. imdb seems to think he was Tony in 2point4 Children, which is quite possible.

I love drunk Jane from EastEnders (thought Laurie Brett was great tonight) and Audrey McFall.
Tanya Turner needs to do a bit more than she's been given so far though. Thoughts?

I haven't seen tonight's yet, but I agree that Laurie Brett's been the best thing about the show ever since it moved to Scotland. She plays a cracking drunk.

When I'm staying at Grey Gardens, Waterloo Road isn't that far from me. I watched the first Scottish episode to see what locations they'd used but haven't seen it since and couldn't work out how they could move an entire school to another country. It must make going home for your dinner very difficult. The last time I was actually in that school, it was to see a friend in a production of 'My Fair Lady'!

They moved the school in the most outlandish way. 'Oh noes the head is about to get sacked so let's set up a free school in Scotland and move all the teachers and some of the kids and then have the kids live in a big house with Grantly Budgen and Melanie Hill and throw in a handful of Scottish characters here and there. Mainly Jane from EastEnders. But we'll bring shit tons of Waterloo Road stained glass so it looks the same and keep the name and uniform because... reasons...'
