I'm already very excited. BBUK seems to be getting duller by the day so I'm looking forward to getting the BBUSA feeds once it's over.

Gotta say, Marvin already scares me a bit, describing himself as 'mercurial' and his hobbies as 'golf and sex'. Michael rides bulls and Mike says George W Bush is his personal hero. Yay for crazy Yanks!

Why is it that the girls are 100% more attractive than most of the guys? Down with these double standards! I think I might have a crush on Lori already, though.

Apparently, the ‘theme’ for BBUSA this year is political conflict, with pure red-neck, gun-toting republicans up against Bush-hating democrats and other political/religious ideologies. Kind of like putting Ahmed, asylum-seeking homophobe capitalist in the BBUK house with Marco, asylum-hating gay and Kitten, lesbian left wing militant. For once, BBUK had intelligent discussions on real issues within the first week, instead of the usual ‘Do you remember Button Moon?’ conversations they’ve had in previous years. Multiply that by the American tendency to have fairly fanatical views on pretty much everything (OK gross generalisation, but I’m guessing the BBUSA producers haven’t selected moderates!), and I think we’ll end up with a great show.

I loved BB USA last year, so much bitching and backstabbing. it wouldn't work here though as the public have got too used to having their say in our version, and I think that's what atttracts so many people...
