Germaine seems like a genuinely top person. She lets John witter away with all his bullshit, but put her foot down when he got too personal with Caprice. I can't quite work out why she's there though.

I was thinking last night that at least Celebrity Big Brother is more dignified than going on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me A Lucrative Sponsorship Deal With Currys! Then I read what tonight's task involves, and I wasn't so sure.

But I like the fact that Germaine Greer did seem genuinely excited about the experience. That's why I like her. You think she'd be really snobby about that sort of thing, and she isn't. I think she should come and join us on the lowculture messageboard. And perhaps she could also be my friend, that would be ace.

Oh, and to PopIdle: I thought the exact same thing. Alarming, isn't it?

My personal highlight was Krazy/Kenzy/Freek/Flava (which IS it?) telling John McCririririrrick how Blazin' Squad were "underground MCs". Yes, so subterranean they're practically at the earth's core.

The live coverage is great. This afternoon it soley focussed on Jeremy, Kenzie and Bez in the hot tub then in the sauna for at least an hour. There were loads of borderline-indecent close-ups of sweaty pecs. Jeremy's man nipples are rather upstanding! It was all rather relaxing. I almost forgot where I was and put on my swimming costume so I could join them.

I want her to win too. I wondered what she meant by that remarks about bigger battles to fight. I thought maybe she meant there was someone who could threaten her chances of winning, she sounded more coniving, like it was about the game, rather than about the battles within the world to get world peace.

I hate all of them in big capital letters, except for Germaine. Kenzie 'starting' on John, right down to the wide boy 'come on then' outstretched arms, cockneyfied patois, and ostentatious sucking-of-teeth made me want to end my life. I loved how he waited for someone else to come in before pretending he was actually going to get physical so they could 'hold him back', and how he took such. offense at the suggestion that he was 'a little boy' (his own words) when his behaviour was exactly that of a jumped up, immature little prick.

Seriously, HATE. John is worse, he is repulsive in every single way.

Germaine should walk this by miles.
