Did anyone notice that shitty little scene crudely inserted into the middle of tonight's episode?
"Ooooh, I am going to describe EXACTLY what happened just so you make sure you can see how clever we've been"
When the scene ended the editting was rubbish. Firstly the transition (to another bit of the Vic) seemed to flicker and also Gary and Phil had suddenly disappeared.

Did anyone notice that shitty little scene crudely inserted into the middle of tonight's episode? i hate it when eastenders do this. i remember seeing an episode a while back when it was around Remembrance Day and they had inserted this really naff scene of Dot and Pauline in the laundrette talking about the war and stuff! don't get me wrong, im not saying they shouldn't have put it in but the scene just seemed really rushed and didn't fit in with the rest of the episode.

There was a Dot and Pauline Laudrette scene for the Queen Mam's funeral too.
I can't stand this tye of thing. I like my soaps to happen in a slightly parallel universe to ours, where there are different current affairs and the people of Albert Square sit down in an evening to catch up with the latest hapenings on Eldorado.

When Charles and Camilla's wedding was referenced during the Ken and Deidre's wedding episode of Coronation street it was fairly genius though was it not?

It didn't happen in the end though, did it? As the date had to be changed.
