She's only gone and got herself up the Hillary Duff again.
Will the "Big Mama" t-shirt be making a reappearance?

It said on Digital Spy that she will be bringing a birthing bag to the final.
Oh dear. I'm annoyed enough that she's still bloody presenting it though. I just cannot stand her anymore.

I think I read that if she goes into labour Dermot will take over as presenter.

I think I read that if she goes into labour Dermot will take over as presenter. We can but hope. Jeez, she is seriouslyy "over". There was a time when she was cool and fun and so on, but I am fairly sure that if asked the vast majority of folk would prefer to see Dermot host the whole shebang. Or someone new. Not her.

Forget Dermot, I want Russell Brand presenting it.

Leave Davina alone.
She's one of those people I have a strange allegiance too and get upset when people start "dissing" her, even though I know deep down that she's a bit shit. I think it's because she seems like such a nice person.
It'd be ace to live next door to her. Give her 30 years and she'll be the sweet-but-raving old lady, permanently clad in flowing dresses and welly boots, with a tin of fun size chocolates to offer to any kid who knocks on her door.
On the other hand, I've gone right off Dermot O'Leary. Probably because BBLB hasn't changed in the slightest since it started in 2001.

Im in agreement with you Nurse Dunkley.
I just dont get all this "Davina Hate" at all, she's humorous, able to laugh at her self and when it comes down to it she really is a capable presenter, and she's also a massive fan of the show.
in fact I think its Dermot thats gone a bit shit, even though i'd still give him one, Little Brother is fuckin shit now, Its like a parody of how it used to be.
And as much as I love the Russell of Brand, I dont think the nation en mass are quite ready to take him to their bosoms.

I agree with all the negative comments on this thread so far: Davina needs replaced and Dermot has gone stale.
I'll add that I think Russell Brand is a bit shit. Let Daisy Donavon, Lauren Laverne and Lisa Tarbuck cover all the BB shows between them and I'll be happy.

I'll concede that Russell Brand is an acquired taste.
I like your Daisy Donovan idea.
Maybe Rustie Lee could present it next year?

Claudia Winkleman would be good. She reminds me of what Davina used to be like (Streetmate era, every girl wants to be her best friend, witty, smart, unpredictable) and she always seems to be pregnant so she could slot in easily.
I'd be happy if Dermot did it though. Whenever BBLB's off air I decide I hate him but then when it comes back on I love him again. He's adorable and his dancing is AMAZING.
Rustie Lee can't do it! She has to start her annual get on I'm a celebrity... campaign soon!

The Winkleman is an excellent idea - I adored her surreal ways on Fame Academy. Sadly all she seems to do now is Strictly Come Dancing which I can't abide.
The more I think about it she is the natural successor to Davina (although as much as we bitch about Davina it wouldn't be Big Brother without her, would it?)

I don't dislike the woman butI think the backlash started when she threw Makosi to the crowds last year instead of being a buffer, which is her job.

No, it started when she tried to patronise Germaine Greer.

It started when she started being fucking annoying which was the moment she stepped in front of a TV camera for the first time.

as much as we bitch about Davina it wouldn't be Big Brother without her, would it? The Fridays night show might be better, otherwise there would be no real change.

I started to go off her when she opened Kitten's suitcase live on tv and emptied it all over the studio floor just because she had dared to break the rules of 'her beloved' big brother. Germaine Greer wiped the floor with Davina it is true. Davina came across really needy during that interview like she needs everyone to love her and HER show...when someone hates it or refuses to jump to 'her beat' (Makosi, Jackie Stallone etc) she just shows herself up.

Davina jumped the shark for me during the Becki Sedicki lynch mob eviction. It was like watching the proverbial Christian being thrown to the lions and Davina was loving it.
The subsequent Germaine Greer and Makosi interviews just compounded this. It is always really obvious which housemates Davina likes and dislikes when she ought to be impartial.
And to think I loved her on God's Gift, Streetmate and the first few Big Brothers...
I DO HOPE SHE'S STOPPED SHOUTING THIS YEAR.

The first year that Davina was pregnant during BB (was it year one?) Zoe Ball was on standby to do the presenting duties should soemthing have happened.
FACT.

From this week's Heat: Q - Do you have favourite housemates every year? Davina -' ...Makosi was a brilliant housemate. Machiavellian brillaint, amazing. I applaude her for that, and I thank her for that. And indeed, I did thank her for that during her interview.'
I think I must have been watching another interview. Or did she thank her as she threw her to the crowds?

My God. Did she really say that? Was there another Makosi?
Maybe she knows that was the moment a lot of people began to dislike her slightly, and is just trying to cover her ass. But I still cringe at just the thought of the Makosi interview, it made me just think how awesome Makosi was for keeping it together during that.
I used to think Davina was great because I loved Streetmate, but I don't feel strongly about her either way now.
