Chattin' Shit

Am I 'chatting shit' or just disagreeing with you?
By your reckoning, if someone 'deserves' to be beaten up, then they should be. It is exactly the same, but different (stay with me...).
Maybe I used a bad example, it was the first that came to my head to be honest. I probably could've found his name, height, birthday etc and the exact details, but that's unnecessary to illustrate my point. And I summed up his whole life in that simple phrase because he wasn't beaten to death for being from Croydon (or whereever) or for working in a Fish and Chip Shop etc. He was 'that gay guy' because he was beaten up purely because he was gay.
The 'provocation' for that guy getting beaten up was his sexuality. The 'provocation' for Grace getting beaten up was that she is a vile person wo was on a TV show. Granted Grace 'had it coming' more than the gay guy but neither are very good reasons at all to be attacked.
Obviously the attack has happened. And the people who beat her up have issues. It happened to Grace, so the tragedy is somewhat lessened. But the fact that you seem 'pleased' that someone (anyone) got beat up is just so callous and malicious and scary that it makes sick. Because when that guy got beaten to death there were inevitably people out there who were pleased and felt he also 'had it coming'.
As for your closing sentence. No, I don't know what you're on about. Clearly I don't know myself.
I realise that this has majorly digressed and I apologise. But I just got extremely offended and hett-up by the comments made.

I don't regret my comments either and you would be shocked at the amount of people that agree with me. That, to me, strikes of a mob mentality. A

I read your comments and though I disagree with most of what you said (moralisers annoy me) you should really go back to my original comment that sparked this off and re-read it. I don't condone everyone being beaten up but I will in the case of Grace. Perhaps now she will think twice before acting needlessly unpleasant. I don't regret my comments either and you would be shocked at the amount of people that agree with me. That, to me, strikes of a mob mentality. A Perhaps it is. But I don't speak for any mob.

I think everyone is getting a bit cross patchy (as my mum would say) on this thread now. I think we should all follow the good example set by Aisleyne this week - make a dignified comment about how if you are horrible people may (rightly or wrongly) want to be horrible back to you and then draw a line under the matter.

Grace did not deserve being attacked. I don't think news of anyone getting kicked about the head and getting cigarettes stubbed out on their arms should be applauded.
Grace was a shit on a game show which she went on to lose. I think that her eviction and the boos she recieved were fitting consequences for her actions. The suggestion that she deserved to be involved in a serious altercation and be scarred for life because she was nasty on tv is abhorent.

I highly doubt she's scarred for life. It's more likely her PR have sensed a chance to present her in a sympathetic light. Doesn't she have a pop song coming out soon?
My point is that you shouldn't believe everything you read about Grace. The only real account of the attack comes from her and the pictures that show her bruising show her with a plaster on her finger - she could have been drunk and fell over, you don't know and she's a liar of the highest order.
I've seen worse beatings outside the school gates, in any case.

Of course we don't know what actually happened, my point is that being a bitch on TV does not mean that a person deserves to be beaten up.

Being attacked is one thing but parading yourself in heat the following week is bloody uncalled for and made me have even less sympathy for her than I might already have.
It was another desperate grab at the hand of fame

Thank you Jem. She's turning her injury into a PR coup. And I despise professional victims like Nikki as well. I wouldn't be shocked if that was a publicity stunt too.

Having skimmed through the Heat article at the station today, it appeared that her attackers had been in GAY prior to the assault. As a gay, I would like to distance myself from this. A shame it wasn't a happy slapping. Would have been more popular than Imogen's video nasty.

Are those unfortunate stains around her right breast on her top, your copy of the magazine or your scanner?
I can't think which is the scariest prospect.

Ooh, her scar matches mine. I feel this brings me closer to Grace. I feel her pain. I purse my lips in the same pained-meets-sultry expression.
Me + Grace: Victims in unison. Maybe I should set up a celebreality tv special?

Did you, like Grace, get your scar after incurring the wrath of some angry gays?

It was the front window of my house - I bet it was installed it there by GAYS.
Cue media furore over vicious vile gays.
Lynda LaHughes can be our spokesmodel.
She'll present "When Gays Go Wild"* on five come October.

*Not to be mistaken with Guys Gone Wild, no sir.

Surely "When Gays Go Wild" must now be presented by Grace. She can look sad and pouty and say things like
"I've seen first hand what can happen WHEN GAYS GO WILD!!!!"
and
"Because I believe that stereotypes are true I thought that all gays were weedy like Kenneth Williams. I came to the harsh realisation that I was wrong while they were beating the shit out of me."
and finally
"The Tories were right kids! Gays are dangerous - they can go WILD at any time!"
All of this can be broken up with shots of Richard from BB making people cry.

I'm seeing Grace more for that exclusive celebrity interview for the first episode. She'll cry more than Steve Irwin's widow.

Urgh - don't even mention Grace in the same sentence as lovely Terri Irwin. Terri is genuinely upset (poor Terri). Grace is just a big fame whore who would be playing for the camera, crying big crocodile tears down her now mis-shapen face.

Another Tuesday and she's on the front covre of heat again showing her scar to all and sundry whilst bleating on about how crule the readers of the mag were to her in last weeks letter page.
I've said it before but it's worth repeating- it's not the fact you were beaten up but the fact you are a self obessed media whore. Using injury for profit.

And of course next week's letter's page will be filled with heartfelt letters of apology, perhaps like this one: Dear Grace, If you're going to try to peddle this amount of bullshit, don't be surprised if the general public doesn't buy it. We're not all as stupid as you are. Know yourself, Steven.

I read the Heat interview and what a twat this girl is. My fav bite was when Heat asked her if the police were any closer to catching the guy and she says- "I keep phoning them up because I want this guy to be caught, but my case isn't a priority for the police. When I call, they just keep telling me there are 12 other cases before me. To them it's just another brawl in the street, but I'm not used to things like this happening..."
She is like one of those people on Watchdog with the 'how very dare you treat me this way' attitude.
The police suck, but I would imagine that they do have more important cases in fucking LONDON. I can just picture her calling repeatedly on a very expensive mobile going but I'll be scarred for life

I hope the police put her on speakerphone and laugh at her, making boo-hoo faces and mock-swooning.
