I still can't help thinking he's very dull, but I thought him and Pete dressing up as each other was hilarious. I also thought it was brilliant that he was taking no shit from Nikki with the scrubbing, and he wasn't tolerating her tantrums. And last night I liked that he was there for Nikki and was all "Do you want me to talk to them?" Even though he would've been a bit of an arse if he had actually talked to them about leaving Nikki out, it was sweet of him to offer because he saw she was upset. Oh, and I liked how he walked out of the room when Richard started saying homeless people dance around with happiness (what is he smoking?!).
He's improving in my eyes, but he has still acted like a complete tool many-a-time.

This is a bit of a crap reply, but I just wanted to say that I totaly agree with everything you just said! That's exactly how I feel about him right now. And in comparison to most of them he seems likeable enouh. He's improving in my eyes, but he has still acted like a complete tool many-a-time. Dull response on my part, but yup, agree with all you say about him, that's exactly how I feel.

Mikey's okay. He's a typical bloke. He's not particularly great, he's not particularly awful. He's not exciting, he's just very average.

Isn't that how Anthony won last year?
Afeared, I tell thee.

Isn't that how Anthony won last year? Afeared, I tell thee. A I thought that too but in retrospect last year's crop were really poor in comparison to this year. Like them or hate them you can't deny that Pete, Nikki, Glyn, Ashleyne, Lea et al are more entertaining than Anthony, Saskia, Maxwell, Orlaith etc. I really think (and hope) the final three will be Pete, Nikki and Ashleyne - I think people are quickly seeing that Glyn is just an irritating little twat.

The thing everyone seems to forget is that most of this lot are NIGHTMARES with a capital NIGHTMARE. Whenever any one of them seems vaguely reasonable you've got to remind yourself of whom they consider to be good people, and what they've said. And aside from comments like 'fucking slut' about Aisleyne (he's marriage material, is he Aisleyne? Maybe if you'd heard that you'd reconsider even joking about marrying the thing)... ...Mikey thought it was acceptable to touch Grace.

Last year's crop were pretty entertaining! Derek, Science, Saskia, Maxwell, Makosi, KINGA and Eugine were all great. Even the repugnant Craig and Ant'knee were fun to watch in a car crash tv kind of way. I think most of this season's housemates are duller but much more paranoid, which is good too. Mikey reminds me of Federico, dull to the point of detestable.

I loved Kinga and the whole Craig and Anthony fatal attraction. Derek was funny too - "the lady is not for turning". I loathed most of the rest of them.
On the whole if I had the choice I'd rather be in with this year's lot - I'm sure I'd get on with Ash, Nikki, Pete and Lea (I might even manage to get Lea to smile once in a while!)

Uggh. He nominates Richard because of the sexual "joking" - "he takes it tooo far knowworrimean?"- this from the man who bit Aisleyne on the bottom!

Homophobe.
Generallly however I do find Mikey quite entertaining, & for the life of me cannot explain why. But then I liked Grace.

To be fair Richard can be a bit full on, this is less about Mikey being homophobic and more about Richard being a bit too full on for his liking. Micheal has the same issue with him.
On the other hand, Mikey and Spiral are ignorant hypocrites if they don't realise the huge similarity between how they sometimes treat Aislyne and how Richard sometimes treats them.

Really haven't seen much of it of late, but what was last night's scene between Mikey & Suzie? He came over as an aggressive arse. It just seemed he'd got the wrong end of the stick and then couldn't take a joke about himself. If I'd been Suzie I'd have put him in his place.

To be fair she did correct him on a few points, apologised for very little (as she had very little to apologise for), and politely laughed in his face.

He came over as an aggressive arse largely because he was being an aggressive arse! Credit to Susie for the way she handled the overbearing arrogant git.
There was one point yesterday when I think I heard him in the background saying to someone "I must be really popular". I hope this Susie incident gets him nominated and gets him out.

Really haven't seen much of it of late, but what was last night's scene between Mikey & Suzie? The scene has become a regular thing for Mikey where he is under the impression most of the voting takes place on the Friday night show and so orchestrates an argument on a Thursday night for the person he wants to go most to make them look bad. He's tried to do it with Suzie, Richard and Nikki from what I can remember. And everyone saying "Yes but Imogen would've gone as well" he said that he likes Imogen but wouldn't mind her going if it meant Suzie went as well.

Perhaps he is a bit like Antony in that they both seem to get by soley on people fussing 'round them. Except Mikey is a pair of shoulders without the grating regional colloquialisms.

What's been going with Mikey this week? I've been missing BB but I hear he's being an arse (again).

I have no idea, I only managed to watch the first 20 or so minutes of last night's because it is just so boring. He keeps snapping at everyone and I think if I got into an argument with him, I'd end up throttling him. He's so frustrating! He has no comeback, ever! Jennie was arguing with him, and I think she had a point (though to be honest I can't remember what the fight was about), he was just shouting over her denying everything she said and then they started calling each other a dickhead for about a year.
I really hope he goes this week. He's so petty and even thinking about his stupid arguments is annoying me.

Mikey: "I'm allowed say what I want, have an opinion" Imogen: "I'm allowed say what I want, have an opinion" Mikey: "Yeah, whatever, babes, don'twannahearit, knowwhatImean, k, leaveitsorted, yeah" Imogen: "But..." Mikey: "Yeah, whatever, babes, don'twannahearit, knowwhatImean, k, leaveitsorted, yeah" Imogen: "You're not letting me have my say" Mikey: "Yeah, whatever, babes, don'twannahearit, knowwhatImean, k, leaveitsorted, yeah"
repeat ad nauseum.

He isn't that pretty. Fit and photogenic but also kind of odd looking in a Cubist kind of way.

So, OK, he's having all these arguments and disagreements and being a stroppy arse this week. Is it just this week? Or have BB now decided to highlight it and show it? So has he always been like this, and it would then follow that they've not shown it?
Things like that confuse me.

He isn't that pretty. Fit and photogenic but also kind of odd looking in a Cubist kind of way. Just to clarify, I did actually mean petty, not pretty! He's sort of blah looks-wise. I'm starting to become really paranoid about the editing this year. I only watch the channel 4 show (watching it live really frustrates me, I can't bear the continuous sound dipping). What if it's not really about mindfuckery with the housemates, what if it's just an experiment into brainwashing the public into liking who they want you to like? I am perhaps the last person to realise this though. Anyway, ding-dong Mikey's gone and all that!

I never want to see a pregnant witch lady and an african-tribal-mask-faced blank-souled vacuity discussing the term 'gash' at far too much length whilst I am eating ever again.
