I'm really disappointed with Big Brother. Not only have they manipulated the housemates into distrusting Aisleyne thanks to the leakage of that 'test result' (which is a load of crap anyway) but more of the public will hate her for no reason despite the fact she had the guts to stand up to Grace when she was being a bitch and Nikki when she was being a bore.
Am I wrong? Has Aisleyne taken me in too? Is she really a nasty bitch? The BBBM audience seem to hate her too.

After reading all about this on the digitalspy forums I was convinced they were going to do a hatchet job on her, but last night I thought she came across quite well. Unlike Mikey.
BB need conflict and a big story for the next 2 weeks, so they probably will sort it for an Aisleyne eviction, although how this ties in with last week's effort to get the boring people out I don't know.

Does anyone actually really care anymore? This is the first BB I've just not been bothered about. I don't care who wins. I don't care who's evicted anymore. It wouldn't bother me if they finished it early in fact. I watched last night's show and so little had happened they had to show the task almost in real time to fill up the hour. I love BB so I'm kinda sad this year's show has gone so flat when it had great potential. They've had some great characters in there but they've manipulated it so much they've killed all the drama.

Aisleyn better be the last female in there. I think she deserves it anyway. Bar Pete & Glynne it really has been the Aisleyn show for most of this series.

But Aisleyne probably is the most machivellian! She is cunning and shrewd, no one is saying it is a bad thng.
I think the problem was with word usage and none of them understanding what it meant. It is not exactly a word in everyday use is it?!

If that test really helped expose devious people, then by taking it you could easily manipulate the answers into presenting you in a good light.
Or am I really Machivellian?

I think Machiavelli justifies unethical means to achieve and maintain power, and if that is right perhaps being Machiavellian is quite a bad thing. It is not synonymous with shrewd.
Hardly any of the house mates (stand up, please, Mikey) could even say the word so I doubt many of them have grasped the finer points of The Prince.
I've done fuck-all at work today.

Strictly speaking, Machiavellian should mean what nick says: doing whatever is necessary to maintain power, but in The Prince, he argues you achieve this through a thorough understanding of human nature. It is better for a leader to be liked than to be feared, but better to be feared than hated, and so on. I've a feeling that the rigorously scientific test they performed didn't ask 'would you kill your enemy in front of the villagers to indicate the price of rebellion?' It's probably just a test of how well you read people and situations, which Aisleyne is good at it, and they then spun it as 'cunning and deceitful' to cause an upset. Lest we forget, 'you better know yourself' - Aisleyne's got a better understanding of how people tick than the rest of them.

I've heard rumours of nominations but whether they're true or not I don't know. Digital Spy seems to think Aisleyne is NOT nominated this week. I can't understand why because Big Brother seems desperate to have a Glyn Vs Pete final week.
