I Dislike Dermot

I am really disliking Dermot at the moment.

Moments after mentioning that Aisleyne is current 2nd favourite to win according to the bookies, he exclaimed that it was good news but wondered "where did that come from". Just because you think the world needs another man-boy celebrity like yourself doesn't mean the public agrees!

Minutes after that he ignored what he had read out about Aisleyne being a potential winner. In discussion with a female comic he riffed on the fallacy that the final will be an exciting Gynn V. Pete showdown. As if.

Is anyone else watching BBLB this week? Am I right in thinking that they've only sent correspondents to Gynn and Pete's home towns?

It's very upsetting. I'd grown to loathe Queen Of The Raven-People Davina long ago, but thought that Dermot was still the voice of BB-hosting reason.
But he's been just as bad as Davina, if not worse. At least Davina's just a weird ball of hormones, led by her womb and the remnants of crack, who gets all obsessive about any couples in the house and automatically elevates the pair to god-like status. She's just Heat magazine made flesh, which is unpleasant but understandable.

As other people have mentioned, Dermot's obsession with Glyn is mildy disconcerting - why are you so into a slightly backward boy from the Valleys who's about half your age? - and he's even worse than Davina at hiding he hates Ais.

I hate the way he says Glyn. Perhaps it's the proper Welsh way; I don't case, I don't like it.

i requested yesterday on the 'let's make Aisleyne the winner' thread what Dermot and Davina have been saying about Aisleyene but no one has responded - can anyone shed any light on it for me?

No one's watching BBLB this year anyhow. Big Mouth has completely stolen it's thunder.

totally. I didnt even really know that BBLB was on this year as it used to be on C4 at about 6ish so I woukd catch some of it but now it's on, as I was told the other day, E4 at 7.30 when everyone is watching corrie.
