I did. I came from the article on the Beeb about the Ash to win campaign and realised these might be my kind of people. That led me onto Grace Dent's Blog (radio times) which is fabby. Very glad I went to the Beeb that day.

I commenced my relationship with this board in support of the mighty and powerful Ais. It has been a turbulent ride, filled with kumquats, bacon and stuffed red peppers.
Delicious.

Welcome everyone! LowCulture is hilariously brilliant and not only does it praise the wonderful Aisleyne (she was the real winner) but it also loves Veronica Mars and Doctor Who. How can this site not be good?

How can this site not be good? We also illegally cleverly watch TV shows that were only on in America the night before, and have an obsession with vaginal products. And everything's pink!

And I know that Mr. LC himself isn't the biggest fan.

I joined after seeing the article in the BBC. I'm not a fan of Aisleyne (which is probably why I've got -1 karma!!), but wanted to see what it was all about. Glad I did, it's great!

How can this site not be good? I think Veronica Mars is shit. I feel like a Catholic who has just been told God is not real. How can you hate something so well written and well acted?! EDIT: I hate every Tom Hanks movie despite the Oscars so hating well acted media is possible.

I too read the article on the BBC website and that brought me here. I was getting increasingly frustrated by the fact that no one else could see what a totally class bird Aisleyne was. This year's BB was an epic struggle between good (Aisleyne) and evil (everyone else in the house - they were all twats). I feel better now that I have have come to low culture and found my 'bredrin'. Thank you!

As long as no-one came over from the Channel 4 BB forums it should be alright.

Can anyone explain to me how to add an avatar to my profile? I have selected one that is 100x100 pixels and pasted in the shortcut but when I press modify afterwards it is not there. Why?! Do I need to select a height and width? What measurements are used for doing that? Also in the avatar drop down where you can select 'none' or a lowculture issue one there is no drop down option for URL. I have gone with None. Is this the problem?
I have come to this specific thread because it is full of Aisleyne fans who, by virtue of that fact, must all be lovely and helpful.

I am not sure - Ignore the drop down list, paste the entire URL of the avatar (including http:// ...) where it says avatar URL, and then specify height and width (100 and 100).
