books.guardian.co.uk/departments/biography/story/0,,1934948,00.html I was a little disappointed with how brown-nosing the interview was. I also resented the generalisations on the part of the public made during this article: everybody loved Pete (no), everybody turned against him when he won (no), everybody thought Pete and Nikki were OTP 4EVA OMG LOLZ (no)...it just seemed very one-sided.

Did anyone really think that Pete and Nikki would get married? Apart from Nikki herself, I don't think so. I think that people started hating him, partly because of Nikki, partly because once you got past the Tourettes, there was nothing resembling a personality there, but also - contrary to what the Guardian is saying - his desperation to win, which was the most blatant I've ever seen on BB. All that shit about him having to win because he couldn't believe in God or heaven if he didn't was utterly crass and manipulative.
It was funny when his publicist told him that he really should have read his own autobiography.

He really should have written his own autobiography, never mind read it.
I still can't get over how reverent that feature was. Most people would be roasted alive for admitting to having neither written nor read their own autobiography.

I hope the book is written in the style of the quotes from this interview.
